Michael was well known as Mike. Mike was a true person of character. He loved his family, his true love Alison McMann
(Ali Mack), friends and community in Austin. Mike moved to Austin at the age of 19 years old. He carried several jobs while in Austin and one of those jobs was as a Barista.  He became known in the Austin community as a compassionate person who you could go up to and have a good conversation. He would provide the individual/friends with a no nonsense response if they were asking for his feedback. He helped many by sharing his earnings to those that were less fortunate than him.  He would help his friends or acquaintances get a job when they were in need.  He built up a life of friends in Austin who became his second family. Mike loved to travel he felt so free when he was outdoors especially hiking and close to water where he could swim or go kayaking. He was an artist when it came to building or crafting things. He loved animals and of course always seemed to find the time to hit the gym.  Mike loved the Spurs, Cowboys and the Rangers.  He would yell and scream when his favorite teams would lose.  His favorite time was spending it with his true love Ali Mack. It was Mike’s plans to marry her.  During Mike’s fight against Covid, Alison spend every moment with him, supporting him, loving him and providing that comfort he needed in those crucial times, for that we are forever grateful to her. Mike will be forever missed.
A graveyard memorial in Mike’s honor will be held at St. Jose Burial Park in San Antonio, Texas at 11am on May 31, 2022.
