Michael Stanton, age 61, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022, at Hospice of Dayton, with his stepdaughter Crystal by his side. Mike was born to the late Ward Kale Stanton and Lois Ann (Kavanagh) Stanton on October 14, 1960. Mike is survived by his siblings Tom and Louanne Stanton, Deenna Stanton, and Greg and Lori Stanton. Also surviving Mike are stepdaughter Crystal Boyles-McGowen and grandchildren Todd Breeden, Melissa Bhe, Suzanne Bhe and Derryk Gacek, as well as his aunt Alice French, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike also leaves behind his faithful German Shepherd, Gretchen.

Mike was a 1979 graduate of Greene Central High School. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his friends around a campfire. The family would like to thank Crystal for being by Mike’s side during his final days and the Hospice of Dayton for their compassionate care.

At Mike’s request there will be no funeral service or calling hours. Mike’s wish was for his friends and family to have a bonfire, share happy memories and raise a toast.
