Living in California, I am unable to physically attend Wayne's memorial service, but today I mourn the loss of this quite, humble young man who showed such strength and courage in his battle against leukemia, My heart aches for my cousin Mike and his wife Merle for I think losing a child is one of life's greatest sorrow, and I understand the pain they are in. I hold Penny and Collin in thought and prayer, and also pray for solace for Dawn, all my Alford family, and everyone that called Wayne beloved. He will be missed and remembered.

Although I never had the pleasure of knowing Wayne , I was good friends with Penny. I love you guys very much, when my father passed there wasn't one word that anyone could say to make this easier so the ony thing I know to say is that God heals all wounds, he will carry you in his palm and keep a hedge of protection and strength around you and sweet Collin! I am here for you both no matter what the problem may be! Love you -Ashley (southern sass salon)
