The passing away of Mola Njoh Litumbe is now only fully sinking into my psyche. I will greatly miss Mola; and that the world has lost an extraordinary, great and just man.

Mola, among his varied professions, coloured feathers on his cap and talents, was one of the pioneers and giants of professional accountancy in Africa in general and Cameroon in particular; an inspiration to thousands of young people who took up and are planning to take up the profession so as to do it excellently well.

I recall a young Nigerian who had arrived London to complete his studies; and who had come to pay me a short afternoon visit. As Mola was in town, I had scheduled to visit him that evening. I promptly told my visitor that I was to go to Central London to see Mola Njoh Litumbe. He looked perplexed. When I inquired as to what the matter was, he said he didn't believe I had been granted such an instant appointment by Mola Njoh Litumbe. When I subtly demanded an explanation for his baffled countenance, he seek for further clarifications as to which Njoh Litumbe I had made a reference. Unbeknownst to me, he was a trainee accountant with Akintola Williams & co in Lagos, Nigeria before coming to London to complete his professional accountancy final examinations. So adroit was Mola’s exercise of his immense talents that his humility shines through them to eternally glow.

Mola’s great genius and expansive knowledge in all subjects of engagement were clothed and veiled in his unassuming nature together with his simplicity. As a shrewd and visionary politician, Mola’s sudden appearance in London in 1995 in the company of Hon. S.T. Muna, Hon. J.N. Foncha and a host of Southern Cameroons’ leaders energised the long suffering Anglophone Cameroon masses in the diaspora who turned up in their hundreds to listen to expected solutions to their plight.

He stood for the rights of the oppressed people of the Southern Cameroons in specific and Cameroon in general to the very end without the remotest sign of wavering from his great principles of freedom, justice and opportunity for humanity.

Mola didn’t stop at national politics but took up the struggle -- as the Secretary General of the Bakweri Lands Claims Committee (BLCC) -- against the wanton dismembering and expropriation of the Bakweri lands by the Cameroon government. Putting together a well united and qualified team, he rallied Fako children worldwide to support the cause which culminated in a legal international victory against the Cameroon government.

It really is sad to note that Mola’s hard work in realising the rightful ownership of the disputed Bakweri lands as being the legal and communal private property of all Fako people is now being wasted by a corrupt local leadership who illegally sells the returned native lands to equally corrupt government administrators in Buea, Victoria, Tiko, Muyuka, Bakingili, the coastal lands, the beaches and the entire Fako.

On a brighter note, it is a truism that victory cannot be stolen from a leopard’s jaws, and that divine justice requires that one only reaps from what they sow—gold will be gold; and planting a good seed on good soil will yield bountiful harvests in the long term for the worker.

A supreme and seasoned conversationalist, one could not fail to have noticed Mola’s captivating powers in holding conversations of the most varied, intellectual and interesting kinds. From culture, languages, politics, the professions, social commentaries, Christianity, religion, history of the bakweris and other tribes, springing surprises; and crafting idioms and stories from thin air: Cameroon, the UK, business, the Southern Cameroons, Enugu, Lagos, Buea, Nigeria and modern cultural trends, Mola could hold his own with all age groups. One could discuss with Mola for hours yet there still will be more to talk about with his evident charisma sustaining without measure. Complete with an unparalleled sense of humour, boundless energy and biting wit, Mola was master, a legend in his own right, a statesman and a loyal friend.

Good bye, Mola, and may the Almighty God grant you eternal rest and peace.

Mola Mbua

Tribute by Rev. Dr. Joe Set Aji-Mvo. Presenting the tireless politician, diehard patriot, benevolent christian and man of honor that Mola Njoh Litumbe truly was.

PRAYING FAREWELL TO MOLA NJOH LITUMBE (1927-2020.05.26)

Oh! Mola Njoh Litumbe! He has gone before he could peel the ripening banana.

Great historical mind, he had, for British Southern Cameroons. He was a clansman of the county that hosts the “Chariot of the Gods”, by which Cameroon was revealed to the outside world, by 500 BC.

MOLA NJOH LITUMBE was the reconciliatory adviser to the SCNC we created, based on the Bamenda Declaration at AA2. Before then, his zeal for justice and liberation was evident when he led his political party to meetings of the Coordination of Opposition Parties, of which I was Chaplain, to inspire Political Theology.

A benevolent parishioner of Basel Mission Church & later Presbyterian Church in West Cameroon, we worked together when I served as Assistant Pastor in Buea in charge of Small Soppo & Tole and as CYF Zonal Executive Adviser. His family sponsored the construction of PCC Bokwango. I sometimes visited him with Rev Ernst Peyer, a missionary friend from Switzerland, who had worked with the Litumbe parents.

He once congratulated me for pioneering the creation of the Protestant Education Examination Board, which I served as Registrar, and later as instrumental member of the GCE Board Council, born from the fervours of Mr Abel Sumbele, to encourage British style education at the time Religious Studies was not being recognized after the abortion of the Federation.

These were our ways and attempts, that Mola Njoh Litumbe would support, to restore the sanity and spiritual flavour of a 1953 self-governing British Southern Cameroon, later nicknamed, West Cameroon.

These, I think were the embers on which the current resistance and restoration movements should be built. Mola walked a distance with you, passed his spirit onto you and blessed you before his departure today, May 26, the anniversary of the restoration of pluralist politics.

We were delighted when we received reports of Ambazonia folks sponsoring his birthday in 2017. Political intelligence suggests that it is at such events of personality honour that we are honoured to tap and record knowledge from the wisdom of wise elderly siblings such as Mola Njoh Litumbe. You did well.

May history favour us, and you, with his wisdom and liberation spirit. He dies like Moses standing abroad and viewing the country he pushed for, without personally reaching the final end of the restoration spectrum. “We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.” (2 Cor. 5:10,)
Rest in Peace devout citizen of Buea -Bamenda.

Hey Daddy Mola Litumbe, like an eagle watching over it's young ones you were to us. Who shall be our source of inspiration and admiration in the ongoing SC Struggle for restoration of its Statehood?

Pa Mola, my first meeting with you was at the funeral of your junior accountant Esukise Martin at Limbe. You were soft spoken and full of charisma. I literally fell in love with your personality. As a candle in the wind, you have made the heavenly your new abode. Rest in peace and know we shall make your wish come true.

Adieu!!!

Mola Njoh: You said it all, and always said it so well. Your insights, inspirationals, and advice on the Ambazonian revolution will be remembered forever. That last strategy meeting we had in Laurel before your departure to Ambaland will keep your words of wisdom with us, and your absence on Inauguration Day will not go unnoticed. Fare ye well Pa and shine on us from above. Prince Kafain E. Mbeng, Sr.

Mola Njoh Litumbe was my senior partner in the firm of Akintola Williams & Co a firm he built in Cameroon and later became the global chairman.
Good people die everyday. Yet not all of them affirm for us the goodness in humanity and leadership the way Njoh did.
My last meeting with Njoh was on February 27, 2017 when he travelled down to lagos to attend the funeral of my late wife Caroline. It's a moment I will never forget. He was a great man, a wonderful intellect, a great soul of matchless courage, one of the great men of the earth. He was without a doubt the most observant, attentive and knowledgeable man I have met. Very compassionate and humble and above all a thorough professional.
May the soul of Njoh Litumbe rest in perfect peace.

Most distinguished Pa Mola, though some of us knew you only through your works and selflessness towards the struggle to free the Southern Cameroons from LRC’s occupation, you have left a void that no one else will be able to fill.

We will forever be grateful to you for showing the torchlight to our generation. Be rest assured that we will take the baton to the finish line and stand tall on Mount Fako during Independence Day. You braved all odds to see a people through, though the fight continues. This could only be done by rare and fearless breeds of your caliber. We pledge to follow in your footsteps!

We will miss every aspect of your tenure, intelligence, diligence, smartness, Boldness, fearlessness, empathy and soft spoken nature of yours, above all the fear of God.

Adieu, our Iroko Tree

Dear Mola Njoh Litumbe,

In Transition To The Great Beyond,

Sent in by Nfor Ngalla Nfor, SCNC Chairman

Sir,

Mola Njoh Litumbe has transited. He is on a Historic Mission of Destiny for the Dignity of his people and sovereignty of his nation. He is not dead.

Mola, believing fervently that those who live in total fulfillment of their God ordained mission on earth never die, for true life is in deeds not days, l have thought it a national duty to remind you of the central message you should take to those who went before you. We highly appreciate your exemplary fatherly devotion to right the wrongs of 1961, but your departure on this long journey at a very critical point in the life of the struggle, demands that you should not go empty handed. Your Mission should not only be coded in our hearts, it should be documented for posterity and humanity in general. It is in this light that, as a patriot who worked so closely with you, l have been charged to articulate these points for the collective attention of our Fathers and other patriots you are going to meet.

As one who lived the colonial manipulations of 1960/61 which led to division on the matter of national destiny and sovereign independence in conformity with the UN Charter and legitimate will of the people, you are transiting at a time when the same cancer, internal as it is, is eating the foundation of national solidarity against annexationist vampire, la Republique du Cameroun. This division from within is costing us far more than was the division of 1961 which was limited in words, nothing diabolic, no blood shed, no arson, etc.

For more than one and half years, from this dungeon, PPY, l have restlessly disturbed the peace of some elder statesmen to, in rock unity with you get into urgent need of positive action for our collective survival in dignity. I was driven into this by the Wimbum received wisdom that the elders were absent in the Village square and the young were judged by foreigners, found guilty, punished and ancestral shrine put to the torch. Burdened by the fear of the unknown, l addressed a clarion call to you the elder statesmen to rise up to the challenge of history and put order in the house, and save the boat from seeking with us all. Such a calamity will be to the joy and celebration of Emperor Biya. In spite of frantic efforts made by those with open outreach you were never gotten hold of due to your health situation till we got word of your Transition.

Not one who ever gives up, surrenders, or retreats on a people- centred right, ideal, l, on behalf of the living and posterity address to you this Call of history for positive action especially when you meet the pro action likes of Mukong, Jua, Stephen Ndi, Endeley, among others.

For a recapitulation, it is important we recall that, the Administering Authority, UK, through international colonial conspiracy imposed the Two Alternatives, which grossly violated the UN Charter, the Trusteeship Agreement, UNGA Resolutions, and sovereign will of the people. For this reason P.M. Kale and his party rejected the imposed Two Alternatives and opposed the holding of the plebiscite in a self- governing UNTrust Territory whose right to independence was eloquently enshrined in the Charter. Chief Stephen Nyenti and his young party, equally opposed the plebiscite and vowed that never shall a foreign flag be hoisted on Southern Cameroon's soil. Foncha's plea at the UN that Southern Cameroons independence be granted and issue of forming a federation be left for negotiation by the future governments was simply ignored.

As the Two Alternatives were unacceptable to the majority even the leading political leaders, J.N. Foncha of the KNDP, and Dr. E.M. L. Endeley of the CPNC, were caught in a web. With this stalemate it became necessary for the leaders in November 1960 to fly to London to plead with HM Government to cancel the plebiscite completely and grant independence to the Southern Cameroons in conformity with the the UN Charter. This was less than three months to the Feb. 11, 1961 UN Plebiscite Day. Unfortunately, while in London, there was no unity of purpose, all the high hopes of going to the UN and having the controversial plebiscite cancelled were dashed. The leaders returned and hastily embarked on campaigns without full understanding of the implications of "independence by joining".

The lack of national solidarity in 1961 and after, which should have united all for a common cause against vicious la Republique du Cameroun, Ahmadou Ahidjou enjoying and exercising absolute power exploited the internal division and annexed Southern Cameroons on the night of September 30, 1961. Southern Cameroonians woke up on their Independence Day 1st Oct. 1961 and were confronted by aggressive gun totting gendarmes, indeed àn army of occupation, speaking a foreign language, controlling and checking them even on their door steps. This was a traumatising experience to a people who, hitherto lived in freedom according the law of nature.

Mola, you will remember when on one occasion in your house in my defence of botched decolonisation and how international colonial conspiracy was used to facilitate annexation by la Republique du Cameroun, l asked you, " Who was the Representative of the UN Secretary General in Buea on 1st October, 1961 as was the case in Yaoundé on 1st January, 1960? The question stung you like a bee and you confessed that there was none and that you had never thought of that. Indisputably, the non-implementation of UNGA Resolution 1608 of April 21, 1961 to form the Federal United Cameroon Republic made up of two states Equal in Status clearly proves that no federal union was formed. What took place night of Sept. 30, 1961 with the silent complicity of UK and UN was annexation. As UNGA land mark Resolution 1608 of April 21, 1961 was not implemented, Art. 102(1) of the UN Charter was then ignored with impunity. The UN by Resolution 2625 of 1970 has declared annexation a crime against humanity and threat to world peace.

Dr. Endeley's predictions have not only come true, our beloved country is now in the fourth year of a genocidal war with scorched earth terrorist policies and tactics. With this neither babies as young as two months old and pregnant women are spared the deadly terrorist bullets. Whole villages and houses with occupants and health facilities are put to the torch by lRC terrorists.

Mola, you are on a historic mission. The ancestors most be brought into full knowledge by no one else but you who lived the practical reality of Fon Achirimbi's French Cameroun is "FIRE!"

Your ordained mission is to rescue the Southern Cameroonians from annihilation and the Southern Cameroons nation from being buried underground as was ancient Carthage. You must as a matter of urgency on arrival raise the clarion call and assemble all the Southern Cameroons fathers, namely, Endeley, Foncha, Chief Nyenti, Kale, Fon Achirimbi, Jua, Ndze, Epie, Mukong, Ndi, Luma, Ebong, among others and with them build rock- based revolutionary united front. With this, as you join in the fight against the occupier, visit the two IGs and two presidents of Ambazonia who by their high ground standing are delaying fulfillment. When we met in ABU Zaria, in late 2017, which unfortunately due to circumstances beyond your control you and Fon Gorji Dinka couldn't attend, SCACUF Governing Council was transformed into an Interim Government to expedite liberation and effective Restoration of the Sovereign Statehood of Southern Cameroons (Ambazonia). In effect, one, and only one Interim Government(IG) was formed. But for one year now running Ambazonia and Ambazonians are saddled with two rival (lGs) and two presidents. This is not only a terrible precedence, it is prolonging la Republique du Cameroun annexation and occupation and the slaughter of our people like diseased cows by its terrorist forces, not to talk of increasing IDPs and refugees and thousands languishing as captives of war in lRC notoriously squalid torture centres. By no means can the two rival IGs flush out lRC, win international support, lead us to Buea, and gain Ambazonia seat at the UN and in other international fora. The lack of unity is delaying UN intervention which is indispensable.

With revolutionary united front from the great beyond the ring leaders and their surrogates should have no sleep, until they submit to the will of the people and do what is right, namely, unite, work, act and speak as one in the supreme interest of the people.

Mola, to any doubting Thomas of why no one else but you is fitter for this historic Mission, let it be made clear that as a crusader for national sovereignty, you were involved in many similar missions for the Restoration of the Statehood of Southern Cameroons. Beginning with the famous SCNC Nine Man Delegation to the UN in 1995, strongly committed to building a broad based united front for the purpose of putting the struggle on the fast track, we travelled to Norway in April 2011 and to the USA in June same year to build a united front between the SCNC, SCYL, SCAPO and the Civil Society plus many other missions you carried out single handedly for the freedom of your people and nation. In late 2016 your Bokwango Residence was host to a meeting at which we tried to bring in the Consortium, though their leader, Bar. Agbo Balla Nkongho declined signing the Buea 11 Declaration, on grounds that they had their own plan. Among Southern Cameroons leaders for de-annexation and National Restoration, you hold the highest record for having visited the UN in the interest of your people and nation.

These, among others, stand in testimony of your remarkable contribution, sacrifices and outstanding commitment to the liberation and Restoration of the sovereign statehood of Southern Cameroons as voted for by the UN declaring 1st October 1961, Southern Cameroons Independence Day.

While our RF, the true heroes and heroins of the struggle are doing a great job, they are sometimes thrown into terrible confusion and conflict as well as become the unfortunate victims of this divisiveness and divisionism. Mola before anything else, pray our illustrious Father, Fon Achirimbi to, on behalf of all the true Natural Rulers pour libations and bless the RF, the true heroes and heroins of our National Restoration and legitimate quest forbsoveregnty anchored on both divine and international law.

Mola, with effective single minded political leadership attained, supported and blessed from the great beyond, the RF will achieve resounding victories. The political thermometer which should become too costly for Biya is in the territory. Unity of purpose within the political leadership is the game changer. Mola, no one else but you is fit for this Mission of Destiny.

Save Transition as you fulfill your Mission to your people and humanity in general.

PATRIARCHS DON'T DIE!!!

Some, very few
Have tread the timeless paths,
Having parted company with the time-bound
To bound to boundless infinite,
Leaving footprints
That print a universal message
Verses of the Sages
No longer leaden but golden,
Incorruptible essence that holds times at bay
So that countless generations can contemplate
The soul yeast
Feast for minds that in reverence
Seek to emulate the feat of giants
That of Patriarchs who never die!

This elite class
Transcends families, clans, tribes,
Having attained to the family of families,
Clan of clans,
Tribe of tribes
Including all and some
Embraced by all,
None embarrassed to call them their own
For they own everybody,
Within their all-inclusive ideas
Having left in ashes petty controversies
And embittering squabbles,
Scribbling the ever-living legacy
Of Patriarchs who never die!

Their histories and stories don't lie
Theirs becoming a berth secure,
Cured to perfection
in the fires of trials vanquished,
Leaving the quintessential model
For others to copy from,
And hopefully follow in the giant steps
Sure way to the infinite steppes,
Homeland of the true Greats
To which Patriarch Njoh Litumbe has gone
To join the Pantheon of the Timeless
Who are more alive than alive
Because Patriarchs don't die!!!

Mola, our father

The news of your passing away is devastating, even though I know that, in recent months, your health was steadily in decline. You and I were long-time companions on the rugged road of political activism and the search for justice for Southern Cameroons within Cameroon - Union for Change, Tripartite Conference, AAC I & II, SCNC, LDA .....At the fork of the road in 2017, we went in different directions when you embraced separation and gave birth to the theory of 'njomba marriage', while I stuck to federation. But that did not dim the warmth and glow of our friendship and personal relationship founded on our shared values of tolerance, objectivity, integrity and mutual respect, on our common belief that having differences of opinion, especially on public affairs, is not enmity. Nothing illustrates this better than the fact that, even though you were unwell, you did everything to attend the funeral in Douala of my mother whom we laid to rest on 26 October 2019, exactly seven months before your own transition to eternity. Greet Mbamba Sarah, your eternal Sweetheart whom here on earth you were fond of introducing, with your trademark humour, as 'my senior wife', Mrs. Julia Munzu, your 'girl friend' (as you teasingly called her) joins me to bid you farewell. Mola, we will sorely miss you. May your literally gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Dr. Simon Munzu

Mola Njoh Litumbe, the history of Accounting in Cameroon cannot be complete without mentioning your name.
You are an Icon to many for what you achieved and the person you were.
I remain eternally grateful to you for always encouraging me. From when I told you I wanted to be an Accountant through
to my years in England studying to be a Chartered Accountant. Your phone calls spurred me on always. You always told me it was not easy, but all the hardwork will be worth it. You were right.
I am grateful to you for the love and support you gave my Late Father, Ray Koge. Your role was pivotal in securing our future. For this my family and I will be forever grateful. You told me how devastated you were by his sudden passing. Your concern never wavered.
It was a pleasure celebrating your birthday last year, seeing you after a long time. I feel very bad for not visiting as promised.
You lived well and you legacy will lives on.
Rest well Mola Njoh! You will be sorely missed!

Life lost its shadows as the sorrowful news of the passing onto eternity of an iconic chattered Accountant loomed the global village on Tuesday the 26/05/2020.
He excelled in the domain of Accountancy and made a name in the; Financial Services Industry.
He was not just a financier, but was also an astute ardent Politician and Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Alliance (LDA).
He fought against injustice and Marginalization;
And was amongst the committee members who led the powerful delegation from Cameroon to the International Court in Banjul at The Gambia to settle the “Bakweri Land Claims“ ; (Bakweri Land Claims Committee V. Cameroon).
He had a sound and retentive memory after completing the standard 3 scores and 10, crossed the finished line, got to the goalpost, added another score; and exited after having schooled and tutored the younger/ new generation(s) on valid Historical facts necessary to buttress and justify the convictions of Southern Cameroonians; and to sustain their stiff resistance against bad governance and oppression.
He advocated for the right to “Self-determination” with emphasis to;
“The Respect for the Rule of Law” as a measure to ensure lasting peace, Security and cooperation.
His political outings ( domestic and international) were often jam-packed with people and were quite enriching and illuminating, with very captivating speeches.
Thus he won the support of the masses from his numerous Interviews granted by the Press and Media both at home and abroad, in connection with the Socio -political upheavals plaguing West Cameroon.
He projected a clear picture of the causes of the problems ( remote and immediate), the flaws of the Ruling Regime which plunged the nation into total chaos: Political ghosts towns, strikes, discontent, killings, gangsterism, banditry, lootings, kidnappings etc, otherwise referred to as the Anglophone Crisis; and made brilliant proposals alongside varied options in accordance with;
Relevant citations from Treaties, Pacts and Conventions to which Cameroon is a signatory.
Hence he emphasized the need for:
The Respect of Decisions from International Tribunals by those at the helm of the government of the Republic of Cameroon;
As well as cautioned and urged them to refrain from;
Reading International judgments in isolation and tilting relevant clauses necessary for the resolution of the ongoing conflict to suit their illicit agenda, corrupt and bad practices.
He fought a good fight, kept the Faith and completed the race.
God rest your soul Molar Njoh Litumbe;
Your footprints are on the sands of times; and your excellent political analysis have been documented by Historians for posterity, but your memory lives.
Your demise has left a vacuum to be filled in Southern Cameroon with emphasis to; the Mount Fako Community and it’s surrounding environs.
You would be sorely missed and greatly remembered for what you have done.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Litumbe family, the other members of the bereaved families; and deepest sympathy to Sister Embelle Litumbe.
Forever in our hearts.

You were the light unto my path and the light unto my feet that God sent. I remember that fateful tuesday morning I came knocking at your gate and against all protocol, you granted me audience. From that day a new relationship began until you fought for me and I had a place in Deloitte Cameroon to practice. You shouldered someone you never knew and made sure I got what I asked from you. From there my professional career began. You simply offered yourself as the bridge I needed to get into my destiny. Today, I am professionally sound and very rich through that selfless act you posed. Thank you for being my mentor and guide in the profession. Your memories will live on forever. You were not only a sound professional but a father as well. So many times you counseled me and my wife to become role models for the generations to come. All this I still hold dear to my heart. Your stories when you came back from England in 1957 and the first chartered accountant west of the Mungo, how you diligently and respectfully executed your professional calling, building a great family and so on will surely be handed down generations to come. Adieu a great man, farewell our Fellow chartered accountant. You fought a good fight, you deserve a good rest. Surely we will miss you and your Condor.....595.

His long and distinguished innings as a bakweri patriarch, a top flight accountant, an astute businessman, a political leader and one of the last first hand witnesses of the still birth of the Federation and all the inside moves to undermine it and rewrite history are all attributes which guarantee his place in the annals of Cameroon's history.

Please convey my sincere condolences to the whole family.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

We have lost a valiant fighter for justice and truth. RIP sir. You fought a good fight and will be remembered forever by an endless number of generations to come. The seeds you sowed will germinate into a very fruitful tree. Not a single seed will be lost. Your life and the lives of thousands of others who have been murdered by Biya's regime in the past 57 years, will fertilize each one of them. The final reward will be an independent nation called Ambazonia and it will happen in this generation, not the next. Rest Well Sir!!

Ntokosuzzy Ayo.

My dear brother,

I have received with grief the news of the passing into glory of your dear Uncle/Father, the patriarch, Mola Njoh Litumbe yesterday in Douala.
I have known him for over 27 years and have kept an impressive opinion of his wit, memory and operational intelligence. Above all, I have seen him engage in epic fights in defense of the rights of the weak, downtrodden, marginalized and forsaken of his people and have watched him defend his opinion with convincing dexterity.

I feel the degree of loss to our community and to his family of such a competent “Data Base”
I know how this loss would affect you, but I am also aware of the degree of your faith in God and in His capacity to console, to comfort and to show compassion.
Take heart, be strong and put your trust in God.

Accept the heartfelt condolences of Rita and myself on this sad occasion and may his soul Rest In Peace
God bless you and your family

Omg, I have known him since 1975: that is 45 years, not 27 as erroneously stated.

Hi Auntie and Uncle

I want to extend my deepest condolences on the passing of Mola Njoh. For many Cameroonians, he is a national icon who has gone on to join the rest of the ancestors. Dad has shared some stories about who he was, and as I told Eposi a few days ago, I feel especially grateful to you both for hosting us in March last year. We all got a chance to meet him, a second time for me, as I believe we attended one of his milestone birthdays in Bokwango some years back. You've all known him very intimately, and my prayer for you all and the entire Litumbe family is for peace, strength during this difficult time. May He rest in peace.

From Dr. Fritz Mosenja Ndoko, Las Vegas USA.

Mola Njoh Litumbe and Justice Ebong are gone and I am now left with what I promised them, like I had promised Pa Mbinka and Pa Stephen Ndi. All four of you made me promise that I will never abandon Southern Cameroons. In that day of September 2017 as I was in the Midst of Mola Njoh Litumbe and Justice Ebong, we were at Mola's Maryland residence waiting for the arrival of Sisiku Julius Ayuk Tabe the visiting Chairman of the Ambazonia Governing Council. You both told me "Christmas our time here might soon be up and we may not have much time left. However we are comforted by the knowledge that you will be here to help our people and continue to represent us in the revolution". I promised them I will and the spirit of Mola and Justice Ebong should know that i remember that promise and i intend to honor it in their memory.

Mola,

You bowed out with honor just like must great men do! Your foot prints are freshly visible from Ako to the Manowo Bay. We shall follow them meticulously. You spat the spirit of the Southern Cameroons in us and it glows unquenchable like the Olympic Flame. You were a good man in all sense of the word! Fare thee well Rock of Ages!

Mola Njoh,
You’ve gone back to our Creator and left us fatherless! We knew that the day would come but here we are crying because your death hurts, hurts, hurts!!!
Sam called me. I had no words good enough to console him or Liengu. Liengu cried uncontrollably and that is understandable. She had lost her dear Dad. I let her cry because the grieving process was just starting.
I was out of Cameroon most of my adult life so I did not have the opportunity to talk with you in-depth so I could benefit from your wisdom. However I met you a few times in Buea and Douala. I cherish those times because I discovered that I was talking to a legend.
I thank God for granting you a long, rich life. I thank you for spearheading the fight against the stealing of Fako lands and the assimilation of Southern Cameroons. The battles are not won yet but please know that praises are being sung all over Cameroon and beyond in your honor. You showed love and concern for your people. You fought a good fight.
Lest I forget, please know that Liengu and Sam spoilt me rotten last October at Cabin Creek and Wyndham. That was an unforgettable experience. Hospitality is one of their lifestyle pleasures.

Liengu, Sam, Embelle, Enani, Mafanny and Litombo and the rest of the family, please accept my condolences.

Adieu, Mola Njoh

We thank you his children and family for sharing him with us and the rest of the world, in spite of yourselves. Accept my sincere condolences. May Pa's soul rest in perfect peace. May God give you, the family and the rest of us, the strength to celebrate his life. Fri Bime

To the entire Litumbe clan and the Bakweri community, my condolences on Great Uncle's passing. He was a great inspiration. I was actually talking about him on Africa day May 25th as one of the Cameroonians who built our country, especially as he was the first chartered accountant in the whole of Central Africa. He was a great educator and mentor not only to Cameroonians, but also to many West and Central Africans. He will be greatly missed.

My dear “senior husband”, this is your “junior wife” saying au revoir because we will surely meet again. Do tell Aunty Sarah and Sweet Mother Nkuku that I did my best to keep you on the straight and narrow path, after they left. You were more than a dad to Carl and I, and we will treasure your memory in our hearts forever. Carl, your “mojili” son, is utterly shattered by your demise that he equates to our archives being burnt to the ground! May your gentle soul rest in eternal peace, Mola. We love you❤️

Wende Gbamu Mola Njoh.
My deepest condolences to the Litumbe Family, Sister Lee, Sister Enani, Mola Mafani and Sister Embele. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.
I have lots of fond memories of spending time with Mola Njoh and Aunty Eposi at your house in Buea as a little boy when we went to visit with my parents and again as a teenager when we went there from Sasse. Mola Njoh, in his typical manner would vehemently refuse to speak English and insist on making us speak Bakweri. He would pretend not to understand a single word of English and would accuse us of being 'Mogili' because we would not speak English. He always did it with such amusement in his eyes, he was not very convincing. Although Njoh, my brother and I were not fortunate enough to spend a significant amount of time with him as older teenagers and adults, I still have very many memories of visiting him. The amazing nguava trees in the yard I would climb with Elizabeth-Ann (my sister) and Njoh (my brother) when we were kids and the comfort of knowing we could spend the night with them at the house after walking from Sasse for 20th May celebrations.
As everyone has already said, he really meant a lot to so many people. May he rest in eternal peace.

Dear Liengu , brother Sam and mbombo Ngowo,

The Cameroon nation, especially we of Fako will always remain culturally enriched and dynamic because Mola Njoh Litumbe lived . He was our icon , our leader and a frontline defender of our rights. He led, in Banjul, the court case of the Bakweri Lands Claim Committee (BLCC) against the Government of Cameroon over the illegal exploitation by the CDC of Bakweri lands . The BLCC won that case owing to the political astuteness and mobilisation savvy of Mola Njoh Litumbe.

We were in fact very lucky to have had him and there are so many things he did in his lifetime that would remind us daily of his towering personality amongst us. Men like him never die. Just a little transition to be with his wife, my dear Auntie Sarah and with God the Almighty who endowed him with so much prowess to influence all those who were fortunate to know him .

May the Lord receive him and grant him eternal peace. Ngowo

My dear Mola Njoh,
You played so many roles in my life. You were instrumental in my parents getting married and hosted them on their wedding day at Membea house.

You were delighted to hear your mbombo was getting married to an offspring of your brother in law.

I looked up to you for advice when the going was tough. You were a shoulder I could lean on.

You named my husband Njoh and my follower Njoh. Our first son was also named after you Songe Njoh. Your legacy lives on.

We used to spend hours on end chatting on diverse subjects when I visited you at Buea and later at Mola Mafany's house in Douala.

You always gave me a listening ear and good counsel. You shall be sorely missed.
Yondo swelele eh, yondo swelele.

Dear Mola/father,

I thank God for giving me the opportunity to meet you in 2017, alongside Governor Achu, Ambassador Henry Fossung and late Justice Ebong. Moments spent in your company rekindled the flame and the hope of Southern Cameroons. You were the iroko tree of our restoration movement and the encyclopedia of the British Southern Cameroons' "Njumba" marriage, as you put it, with La Rupublique du Cameroun. You have ran a good race and are gone to a deserved rest. You will not be in person with your people at the foot of the mountain when the trumpet shall sound but we know that your spirit lives on in Ambazonia. We are certain of your expectation of us to march forth to Buea regardless of the obstacles. You have left a legacy in our hearts and in time a befitting monument will be dedicated in honour of the great work you did for the people of Ambazonia.

All the people of Ambazonia join my family and me in wishing you a glorious journey to the heavenly home. Fare thee well dear father. May your gentle soul rest in the peace of the Lord.
