Mum, I still think of you often and wonder what direction my life would have taken if you had not been taken from us. 42 years still sometimes only feels like yesterday. I love you.

For Mother's Day. My Mother kept a garden, A garden in the heart, She planted all the good things That gave my life it’s start. She turned me to the sunshine And encouraged me to dream, Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self esteem. And when the winds and rain came, she protected me enough- But not too much because I’d need to stand up strong and tough …I am my Mother’s garden.

A thousand words couldn’t bring you back… I know this because I tried, neither could a thousand tears… I know this because I cried, You left behind a broken heart and happy memories too… But I never wanted memories.. I only wanted you

To my dear Mum. You left this world too early and although we have memories and photographs, they do little to fill the empty space left in our hearts. You live on in the lives of all those you touched, even the grandchildren you've never met. One day we will all be united in God's kingdom. Until then, keep watch over us all.

"To my beautiful Mother. Sadly, you were unable to be there for all the wonderful milestones in our lives after your passing. That special bond that only a mother and daughter has, is still there after all these years. I've missed you every day... especially at the birth of my children and of the Great Grandchildren that you never got to meet. I love you Mum. I will see you again one day.X"
