There is a kind of calmness around daddy, that one immediately feel’s when you meet him, a rear gift that can only be from God Almighty. Without saying anything, one can literally feel the positive calmness and absence of tumbling, therefore when he speaks, he is so comforting to listen to, I wish, I met him more, but God loves daddy most.

Uncle,as I used to call you,I thank God for the godly and fulfilled life that you lived.I am happy for the lives you impacted.Thank you for your prayers for the entire family.I appreciate more the legacy of love that you left behind.
I will forever cherish how you accepted me into the family with love for more than 40 years ago.You were a true man of God.Your high integrity is worthy of emulation! You never treated me as a sister in law. You treated me as one of your sisters. If you would convey any important information, you would never separate me from my husband. You always make it jointly .I enjoyed every moment we had, whenever we had the opportunity to be together.
I will forever miss you.
Continue to rest in peace sir.We were thinking that you would wait to celebrate your 80th birthday, but we can only plan, but God our creator knows it all.By His special grace, at the right time, we will meet again at the feet of Jesus.

My memories of you are unforgettable “Bami” as many people fondly call you.
You gave me a free accommodation in Lagos and I will always remember that. I am equally grateful for the money you gave me to buy cooking pots, stove, and groceries to take care of myself as I began my journey of internship in Lagos, Nigeria.
You took me to your office at NITEL where I had the opportunity to call my mom on your telephone.
You are the first person to give me an opportunity to preach in church which you also gave me your sincere feedback that I will always fall back on.
If I continue to recount all my benefits of having you as an uncle, I will not have enough space here.
Thank you for your legacy, sir and I will deeply miss you.

My dearest Uncle,

You will forever be missed.
I often think of your contagious laugh, because it reminds me of my dad's laugh. Which makes me laugh. I thank you for all the love you've shared with me, the hugs you've given myself, and my family. You were so happy to meet them! Allison and Alani send their love!

I thank you for your prayers, and your grace, but most importantly, I thank God for the wonderful life you lived. You will be missed!!

I pray that your soul lays rest in the presence of our heavenly father where you will rejoice, dance, and watch over our family, and extended family.

Thank you uncle.
Love, Ayo

Bami Osun,
Words can never express how much you were to me. You were more than just a father.
I can't forget how you raise us all in the way of our Lord Jesus Christ, your biblical teachings really helped shape my life to become a better person.
I remember how hard you were on me when I wasn't really doing well in my acedemics, how you always scold me and tell me in Yoruba language " ko SI bi obo se se ori ti inaki o se". These words of yours I can't forget in a hurry till today, it still charges me up to always want to be better at everything I am doing.
I also cannot forget those days when I was still under your custody as a child you always make sure there is food stuffs at home and never liked it when we tell you there is no food at home...you always want to make sure we never runs out of food stuff.
What more can I say about you.....you are just a gift that keeps giving till your last breathe. It was like a dream to realize you were no longer with us.it was like you should just wake up when I came to take you to the morgue.
You are a source and a sustainer.
I can't just hold back my tears
I will forever miss you Dad

Thank you for the precious gift of Lola, Damilola & Darasimi. We will miss your love, thoughtfulness and prayers. For my girls you were the last standing grand parent, the pain of this loss can only be imagined. However the story of your exit and our trust in Christ gives us Hope. Hope that we will meet at his feet someday.
Thank You Daddy, you will forever be missed.

Demarest dad.
Thank you for your love for each of your children.
I grew up knowing that there was no other way to llive life in full, but through God.
Waking us everyday early in the morning for prayer. Indeed, there was no better way to start the day than this. Your teachings of the word of God has carried me through out my life; learning to trust God in everything I go through.
I will forever cherish the time you spent with me and my family. The jokes, dance, chatting, being the peacemaker, going for a walk, advice, prayers, loving my daughters , my husband and many more.
I wasI hoping to visit you soon, but God knows best.
May the lord show you mercy and grant your soul eternal rest and peace in Jesus name.
I will surely miss you.
I love you Dad.

Daddy we love you and we truly missed you, the news of your transition broke our hearts this morning as we were still contemplating on a visit to your residence but you were quicker than our thoughts. Coming to terms with the thoughts of not seeing you again seems to be a mirage to your grand children as they had high hopes of being your delight. We are sure that God loves you more than our imagination.
May your soul find rest in Jesus as we hope to see you in paradise one day while we fulfill the numbers of our days.
Adieu - Grand Pa.
