Joe was that story telling, fun loving, tire burning uncle I never had. He was also a very good man who's advice and words of wisdom I'll share with my kids. Everyone Joe introduced me to, I became good friends with. If it wasn't for Joe, I would have my truck, lol! I'm gonna miss "BIG MAN" as I use to call him. Rest on Joe. I know all the angels are gathered around you listening to your stories.

Joe was a classmate, but also my friend. No matter where I was or who I was with Joe always greeted me with that big smile that would light up the most darkest room. Rest in peace my friend.

My dear son-in-law, you fought a good fight, you held on as long as you could,so now take your well deserved rest. You lived a good life, made a lot of good friends and really stood out as a loving husband, father, son, brother and a very dependable uncle.Where in the world will I ever find another person like you to play cards with? You are truly missed. So take your rest Joe and will see you later.

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die! ~Mary Frye (1932) You're now forever in the arms our Awesome God...your spirit will live forever in the hearts of the many who love you!

Joe, you'll be missed by many.. I don't believe u ever met a stranger. I had a good laugh each and every time I was in your presence listening to you talk about Ansel and the times y'all had growing up in Hogansville. So rest on Joe. You've won your race and earned your CROWN.

Words cannot explain the loss of our relative. May the loving arms of our Lord pull you close and be with us during our time of sorrow. As time heals,we will forever feel the loss, we will forever remember the short sweet and funny times we had. Words right now are not enough. Let the healing began.
