He's my music teacher for period 6. For those who don't know, period 6 is the last class for the day and as we were in ensamble setting, we were basically the last group in school every day. However, in his class, I never felt playing violin on period 6 was a burden, yet, he made it a super fun class. We laughed and joked most of the time and yet still respecting each other. Mr. Lawlis is the reason why I came back to violin and he was really supportive to me. I remember about a few weeks before May Convocation in 2014, the class was asked to play some national anthems and to my surprise, my national anthem was one of those which made me feel visible. One thing I always keep in mind is how he always adored my fashion sense and it was truly amazing that someone liked one's taste. Mr Lawlis, you're gone too soon but thank you for the memories.
Your little violinist,
Fabby.
