Linda Lee James Dunn was born January 15, 1948 in Chambers County, Alabama to the union of Sylvester and Josephine Sherman James.

 

Linda’s faith was Jehovah’s Witness and Baptist. She definitely believed and had faith in God. She met the love of her life, Henry Lee Dunn in Valley, Alabama. They were united in holy matrimony on April 28, 1967 in LaGrange, Georgia. To this union, two daughters were born – Tonya Renee and Kimberley.

 

She loved to cook, enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her husband and family. She was a dedicated employee throughout her working life.

 

She was preceded in death by: her parents, one sister, Helen Jackson; and, one brother, Warren Rowe. Linda Lee Dunn departed this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia.

 

Left to cherish her memories are: her devoted husband of 50 years, Henry Lee Dunn; two daughters, Tonya Renee Dunn and Kimberley Dunn; five grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; three brothers, Richard Rowe (Barbara), Bishop Rowe and Jerry James; one sister, Dorothy James; step-son, Christopher Baker (Cathy); one aunt, Emma Chislom; one uncle, Joseph James; brothers-in-law, Willie Dunn, Jr. and Johnny Dunn; sister-in-law, Willie Pearl Radford; devoted cousins, Carolyn “Cookie” Truitt, Jesse Truitt and Holly James; nephews, Hiram & Jason; nieces, Gina & Brina; and, a host of other loving relatives and friends.
