Nancy A. Rife, 65, formerly of Logansport, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Centennial Hospital, Nashville, TN.

Born March 22, 1946 in Logansport, she was the daughter of Frank and Lois White.  Nancy graduated from IUK's nursing program in 1981 at the top of her class.  Her passion for nursing led her to various Director of Nursing positions in Indiana, New Mexico, and Texas.  She worked in the nursing profession until her retirement in 2011.  After retirement, Nancy was in the process of realizing her life's dream of building a log cabin on her mountaintop in Tennessee with her husband and numerous pets.   

Nancy is survived by her husband, Gale Rife, TN; sister, Kathy Williams, Zionsville; daughter, Kim Buck, FL; daughter, Cathy Buck, Windfall; son, Chris Fogle, MI; step-son, Nick Rife, Warsaw; step-son, Matthew Rife, TX; 15 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a step-son, Joe Fogle, and her parents.
