This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Norma Thorpe, 64 years old, born on June 3, 1959, and passed away on December 5, 2023. We will remember her forever.

Norma Jane Dutton-Thorpe, 64 of Cordova, Maryland, passed away surrounded by family on December 5th, 2023, at University of Maryland Hospital. She is survived by her partner of 23 years, Gary Graham. Sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Shaffer of Flintstone, Maryland, Ann Dutton Stanford Humbertson (Ted Humbertson) of Oldtown Maryland; Children, Christina “Crissy” Dixon (Tim Dixon Sr) of Felton Delaware. William Dutton (Suzana Dutton) of Brazil. David Dutton (Christina Dutton) of Federalsburg Maryland. John Thorpe (Amanda Hargett) of Greensboro Maryland. Hailey Parsons (Zachary Taylor) of Denton, Maryland; Nieces, Lynn Davis and Jackie Stafford; with a large number of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and many others she took in over her years. 

Jane preceded in death by her husband, Clarance Allen Thorpe; parents, Edna May & Norman Riddle Dutton; brother, Billy Dutton.

Jane loved the Lord and the praying to him and worshiped him every day. She loved to spend all her time around family and friends that loved her, she also enjoyed crocheting blankets and several other things to keep herself and others warm. She had a great love for her animals. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She will be truly missed by many.
