Obasi was a very caring husband to his wife Isoken Ogan;
An amazing dad to his beautiful daughter Ebube ( Miracle)
Faithful and true to his siblings who will miss him terribly.
He had a very special place in the hearts of his uncles,
aunties,relatives and friends.
Farewell Obasi! Farewell Professor!! Farewell Dean!!!
Like a lion, you had a courageous heart
You fought the good fight and you kept the faith.
You live in our hearts Obasi

Tributes
Leave a tributeYet another year of very mournful events that almost makes us to ask ‘ isn’t it enough!!!
In the midst of it all I still find it difficult to spend a day without wondering how much more beautiful it would have been had you been here still. I will continue to hope that the many like my humble self that you touched in a special way will never forget. May the love and grace of the Almighty Jehovah bless and protect your legacy through all that you left behind, especially your immediate family and all of us in the indebted, extended. Rest In Peace
Amen!!!
It ought to have signaled a world to worry about when people like you exited it- from one deep loss to another and now a pandemic of serious global proportions. I know that some of the things that have happened after you slept would have given you untold anguish so maybe here again we find scarce comfort that you were spared. If there was any mirthful disposition that the The Great Jehovah will entertain it would be yours . So we ask that you use it to ask for an intercession on behalf of the many people who now know grief, the debilitating kind.
Rest well. Rest In Peace ........Amen!!!
Love eternal,
Uche Iko
Just yesterday, I was stopped by a security guard who previously worked at Magrellos (our usual daytime haunt). He couldn't remember my name but he recognised me because he remembered you! According to the young man, he was certain that he knew me because he used to see me with Prof!
I smiled at him and wished him well. Even after four (4) years, people still remember you. Ordinary people whose lives were touched by the generosity of spirit that you freely made available to all.
Keep smiling dear one as you continue to bask in the presence of the Lord. You are fondly remembered.
Prof n Dean, how time flies , its three (3) years gone already. Rest on my friend . I will keep your wife and daughter in my prayers.
Adieu! Adieu!! Adieu!!!
I cut my teeth in the commercial world of oil and gas due to your tutelage.
May your Soul rest in peace ...A great man indeed goes to rest...
Cheers Boss!!!

Dear Family and Friends,
The January 5 deadline has passed and I am grateful to all who responded. This is just to say that I have one more day while I am awaiting details of the order of service for anyone who wants to submit a tribute.
