His Life
August 10, 2012

Oliver Glenn “Bob” Clark was born May 30, 1942 to the late Owen and Minnie Clark in Meriwether County Georgia.  “Bob” as he was affectionately known by all who knew him was 1 of 11 children born into this family.

Bob accepted Christ at an early age.  He joined the Macedonia Baptist Church where he remained a member until his death.  He was educated in Meriwether County Schools and did farm work with his family until adulthood.

He was married to the Late Martha Nell Colton-Clark and this union was blessed with four children.

Bob entered the work force at an early age and was employed by Royal Molding in Newnan, Georgia and Lone Oak Tree Farm for several years of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Minnie, daughters Sandra and an infant daughter; siblings, Marvin, Mable, Pearl Anne and 3 infants.

In the last few years Bob’s health began to deteriorate and he endured a long battle with illness.  As a result he had to be cared for in a nursing home.  On August 7, 2012, he was called home to rest from all of his labor.  He fought a good fight and his suffering was over.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Robert; daughter, Theresa; siblings, Willie (Dorothy), Thelma, Ola Mae (Ben), Rose Marie (Leroy), Cora, Annette, Jerry, Mary Kate, and Arnold; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
