Ollie Turner was born on November 26, 1907, in Laurel, Kentucky, her father, Felix, was 27, and her mother, Matelda, was 23. She married Estill Holland on November 26, 1924. They had three children: Imogene, Pauline and Raymond, during their marriage. She passed away on May 2, 2005, in Batavia, Ohio, at the age of 97, and was laid to rest in Newtonsville, Ohio.
