Dearest Mom, Just a note to say that Doug died Jan. 6. You probably know that since you both believe in Jesus. He left a huge space of love and care here for us … but I miss the comfort of his presence deeply. I would like for you to be here on the 2nd. Seems I will always need my Mom. Love, Lois

You are walking across my heart this morning, Mom. 
A cup of coffee and a loving chat with you would suit me just fine!
I sit with you now at our porch table, the one you helped select. We are watching the birds and critters in our yard while talking and laughing. A few good words can solve concerns and embrace blessings.

Olean is how I knew you. You were my downstairs neighbor in Madrid Spain. Our families became very good friends. You had a wonderful husband and a great bunch of children. I do keep in touch with two of your daughters. Happy Birthday in Heaven.
