Mama was always cheerful and positive. No wonder she loved the old hymn, “Angry words o let them never ...” Her calm and positive manner motivates us while we remain here, looking forward to the resurrection morning when we will reunite never to part again.

Mama was a wonderful mother. She gave us her best. she was a wonderful nurse too. I chose her for my nurse whenever I needed nursing care cause she took good care of us. I will always treasure memories of her. We hold on to the hope of resurrection.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18-

15- For this we say unto you by the word of the LORD, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16- For the LORD himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

17- Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD.

18-Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Mama was the best mother in the whole wide world. She is greatly missed.
We have hope in the resurrection.
1 Thessalonians 4:13- " But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14- For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15- For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17- Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds , to meet the Lord in the : and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words".

Mum is resting where there is no pain orv1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.1:1

Memories of mama will always bring comfort to my heart. My hope is in these words of scripture
"But I would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep . Just about this time 9 years ago, mama went to sleep. I can vividly remember the morning. Today's weather is very similar in many ways to what we experienced that morning. It is amazing how our good Lord has seen us through the difficulties that mama's going to sleep occasioned. He will carry us through it all till we meet her in the morning on the bright river side when all sorrow has drifted awa

Today (Jan 2, 2013) I found out that I passed my professional engineering board exam. Mama would have been overjoyed at the news. She would have exclaimed "Heaven at last!" perhaps with a big smile on her face and a lot of joy and pride in her voice! Praise God for good memories of mama.
