5 star general indeed. Didn't spend a lot of time with you uncle but I always looked up to you, as an established business leader as well as a man of GOD. You touched many lives and our family has lost one of its main pillars. Sometimes I ask why did GOD have to take you home so soon, however after analyzing the whole cycle of life, I have come to the conclusion that it's not in our hands and instead of asking why I can only say THANK YOU JESUS. You are in a better place , a place where most won't get to see , I hope that we as family and friends can use your life as an example of how GOD can change our situation once we are totally committed to him and put away our petty differences and continue on with your vision .Yes we miss your physical presence but we have no doubt you are conversating with the great apostles in the bible you often taught people about. So for that I SALUTE YOU mi GENERAL. Bless up Your nephew Dameon

Birthday Celebration

September 3, 2013

On a day like today, LS would be going through his birthday gifs,  Taking his time reading the cards one by one.  I would passed by ever so often and asked, "Do you want help"  he would laughed and said, no hon, it's my birthday.  I really  really missed him.

August 12, 2013

It was 23 years ago when we said, “until death do us part”.  Like all marriages, we had some bumps on our journey but we held on to our vows. God did it for us.

We worked, we laughed, we cried, we shared jokes and even teased each other. You loved to tease but you couldn’t handle the reverse. (smile)

You were strong, bold, you didn’t know what it was to be afraid on your radio show. You cried aloud and spared not;  that scared me sometimes.

It was March 2011 during a pre marriage counselling session when you said, “I know if I should die before  Hon  she will be able to stand”  Hon its not easy without you but those words kept ringing in my ears so  I have to  stand and be strong.

I had faith,  but I knew you would not come back when I prayed along with others, nevertheless we prayed. You did say when you sleep no one should pray you back so because of that I just had to say, “good bye Hon, enjoy you new home”.  You did run well and of course you kept the faith.  You are a winner.

Hon, I think about you everyday. You are greatly missed.

August 5, 2013

I have fond memories, one in particular where I caused him to be hit in his head which has left a knot . I was known as the big sister who got him in trouble.  He wanted to be in control and as the oldest sibling, would have none of it (smile) I remember both of us singing in the rehab. the last radio program you recorded I was in the room with you. The favorite hymns which I have a hard time listening, two come to mind: Thank you Lord for One More Day" and His voice makes the Difference! Your birthday is fast approaching and am not sure how I will react but I know where you are. Thanks for touch many lives in a positive way. We are taking care of mom as best as we can.
Will always remember you Dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

August 1, 2013

Dave was called the " untouchabel  child" that  mom kept  been a " book worm."  To escape  doing house hold chores  he would  tell mom  that he didnt  want  his  school  friends to  see him  sweeping. Of course he  got his  wish
