Patricia Delgado, de 29 años, fue a estar con el Señor el Jueves por la noche el 3 de Noviembre de 2016. Un servicio conmemorativo se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Christiana Restauracion el Viernes 11 de Noviembre de 2016 a las 5pm - noche y sábado 12 de Noviembre de 2016 toda la mañana hasta las 2pm.

Patricia era hija amada de María O. Contreras y Javier Delgado. Nació el 19 de Agosto de 1987 en Houston, Texas. Le sobreviven las hermanas Teresa Delgado, Imelda Contreras, Yunis Contreras, Ada Orellana y el hermano Roberto Contreras. Ella es precedida por su abuela, María de Jesús Contreras. Su esperanza de tener un día sus propios hijos la inspiró a ser la mejor tía de sus sobrinos y sobrinas a quienes amaba mucho.

Patricia se graduó de la Escuela Secundaria Waltrip en 2005, donde comenzó su carrera y se preparó para convertirse en analista de negocios de Valic Financial Advisors de AIG. Durante este tiempo ella asistió al Colegio Comunitario de Houston para educarse en derecho y administración de negocios de justicia criminal y posteriormente internado en una estación de policía en Bryan, Texas. En 2010, se ofreció como voluntaria con Rebuild Together Houston al restaurar los hogares sin costo alguno para los propietarios de vivienda de personas de bajos ingresos. También se ofreció como voluntaria en el Centro de Mujeres del Área de Houston para el regreso a la escuela y en Early Head Start con el Programa Adoptar una Familia. Patricia estuvo involucrada en el ministerio de música y juventud y también fue tesorera e intérprete en Iglesia Christiana Restauracion.

Patricia acababa de pasar a un nuevo rol con la tecnología de distribución de carreras en AIG. Estaba ansiosa por dar el siguiente paso profesionalmente en su papel de analista de negocios. La vida de Patty no sólo se estaba embarcando en emocionantes éxitos profesionales, sino también personales. Ella y su novio Elias Chavana estaban muy enamorados y planeando su futuro matrimonio preparándose para fijar una fecha de boda. Elias perdió trágicamente su vida junto a su futura esposa. Patricia y Elías tenían una fe extraordinaria en Dios y confiaban en que encontrarse entre sí formaba parte del plan de Dios.

Patricia era una mujer increíblemente fuerte. Ella podría haber sido pequeña en estatura, pero fue poderosa en su viaje en la tierra. Ella era audaz en su fe. El amor de Patty por sus amigos y familiares era incondicional e incansable. Ella siempre estaba allí para servir a otros, animarlos y empujar no sólo a sí misma sino a todos los que conoció para ser lo mejor que podían ser. Patty nunca se rindió! Ella amaba a todos con tal intensidad que no importaba cuánto tiempo alguien fuera bendecido por su espíritu, el amor que ella les daba penetró sus vidas para siempre.

La persistencia de Patricia para vivir la vida al máximo existía en todas las áreas de su vida. Ella disfrutó de ir mudding, paintball, baile, encontró una habilidad alegre en hacer álbumes de recortes y ella amaba hacer sonreír a la gente.

Patricia siempre será recordada y vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones. 

Patricia Delgado (known by family and friends as Patty), 29, went to be with the Lord on Thursday night November 3, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held at Iglesia Christiana Restauracion on Friday November 11, 2016 at 5pm -overnight and Saturday November 12, 2016 all morning to 2pm.

Patricia was beloved daughter of Maria O. Contreras and Javier Delgado. She was born on August 19th, 1987 in Houston, Texas. She is survived by sisters Teresa Delgado, Imelda Contreras, Yunis Contreras, Ada Orellana and brother Roberto Contreras. She is preceded by her grandmother, Maria de Jesus Contreras. Her hope to one day have children of her own inspired her to be the greatest aunt to her nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Patricia graduated from Waltrip High School in 2005, where she proceeded to start her career and work her way up to become a business analyst with Valic Financial Advisors at AIG. During this time she attended Houston Community College to educate herself in law and criminal justice business management and later interned at a police station in Bryan, Texas. In 2010, she volunteered with Rebuild Together Houston by restoring homes at no cost for low-income elderly homeowners. She also volunteered with Houston Area Women’s Center for the back to school drive and at Early Head Start with the Adopt-A- Family Program. Patricia was involved in the music and youth ministry and was also a treasury and interpreter advocate at Iglesia Christiana Restauracion.

Patricia had just recently transitioned into a new role with Career Distribution Technology at AIG. She was eager to take this next step professionally in her role as a Business Analyst. Patty’s life was not only embarking on exciting professional successes but also personal ones. She and her boyfriend Elias Chavana were very much in love and planning for their future marriage preparing to set a wedding date. Elias tragically lost his life alongside his future bride. Patricia and Elias both held an extraordinary Faith in God and trusted that finding each other was part of Gods plan.

Patricia was an incredibly strong woman. She might have been petite in stature but was mighty in her journey on earth. She was bold and fearless in her Faith. Patty’s love for her friends and family was unconditional and tireless. She was always there to serve others, encourage them and push not only herself but everyone she met to be the best they could be. Patty did not know quit! She loved everyone with such intensity that no matter how long someone was blessed by her spirit the love she gave penetrated them forever.

Patricia's persistence to live life to the fullest was existed in all areas of her life. She enjoyed going mudding, paintballing, dancing, found a joyful skill in scrapbooking and she loved making people smile.

Patricia will always be remembered and will forever live in our hearts.
