Patricia Winters Garrett, 73, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home.

A native of Durham County, she was the daughter of the late Claude Puckett Winters and Fannie Nelms Winters. Patricia was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and sister and invaluable grandmother and a friend to all.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bobby Harrell. Burial will be in Community Gardens in Stem.

Surviving is her husband of fifty-five years, Marvin W. Garrett, Sr. of the home; a daughter, Karen Garrett of the home; a son, Marvin W. Garrett, Jr. of Stem; a sister, Ann Rich of Fuquay Varina; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a great grandson, three sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, September 27, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.

love and prayers to all the family,Pat was a great lady with a big heart.She will be greatly missed ,my heart is saddened.She was a wonderful grandmother as well as great grandmother.Ive always loved her and Marvin and appreciate everything they did for me and my kids.Prayers for all who was blessed to have had her in their life! She was truly a great woman!
