This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, my dad, Paul Morgan, 79 years old, born on December 31, 1944, and passed away on February 19, 2024. We'll use this site as an interactive space to share memories, photos and video messages about my dad.  We invite all to share!!

This site also will be populated with information on the burial service (live stream over Zoom) and a memorial video montage. Check back for details on the day/time and link for the live stream.  A recorded version also will be available. Local friends are welcome to join us at the Miramar National Cemetary.

With much love,

When I would plan on attending our CHS reunions Paul was definitely one of the classmates I looked forward to seeing . He loved our class so much.I remember one reunion when we formed a circle holding hands and Paul was in the circle next to me. His was the loudest and proudest voice singing our Alma mater. I know I am only one of many who will miss him.

PAUL WAS LIKE A BIG BROTHER TO ME, A FURRY COMFORT WHEN I NEEDED IT. I STARTED WORKING FOR THE FAMILY CATERING COMPANY AND I REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN WE HAD. HIS MOTHER WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE AND I DISTINCTLY RECALL WHEN SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH DIABETES AND PROCEEDED TO LOSE SO MUCH WEIGHT. EVERY TIME I RETURNED TO SCRANTON(I LIVE IN BRASIL)
I WOULD MANAGE TO SEE HIM, HE TOLD ME MANY WELL KEPT SECRETS ABOUT OUR LIFE AT CENTRAL AND I FINALLY FOUND OUT WHO HURT ME SENIOR YEAR.
I WILL MISS HIM, THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY OF WRITING ABOUT HIM. I LOOKED AT ALL THE PHOTOS AND SEE WHAT A WONDERFUL LIFE HE HAS HAD. GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY. I WILL CERTAINLY LOG INTO SEEING HIS FUNERAL. I WOULD LIKE TO SEND YOU SOME PICTURES, AND WILL DO SO.

As a classmate of Paul’s for a couple of years at Madison and then through four years at CHS, I always knew Paul as a big guy with an even bigger heart. Then, with each CHS reunion, I would delight in being greeted with Paul’s big smile. Inevitably, our conversations would turn to his record collection and which obscure doo wop songs he had recently acquired.
I will miss Paul very much.
For his family, friends, and for all who knew Paul, may his memory be for a blessing!

Sandra & Stephanie,
Sorry for your loss and sorry we have lost contact over the years. I spoke recently with David & Carol Howell and they filled me in that you were all together in California. Nice that Paul was able to be with his family. He was always a big kid at heart so being with grandchildren must have been satisfying for him. Paul always loved life, a very special character and was an unforgettable friend. He came into my thoughts many times over the years. He will be missed. God speed, Paul.

Sandy and Stephanie,
We just read Paul's obit in the Scranton Times/Tribune. So sorry to hear that he's gone. It's been a while since we've been in touch. Not the best way to be in contact with family and friends when it happens after sad circumstances. Hope that both of you are doing well. (Tom and John Ghilardi; John and Joseph Lopatka, and Chelsea Erie)

My name is Elaine Saar. I worked with Paul at Juvenile Court Probation Office for many years. He was very pleasant and I enjoyed getting to know him. Our paths crossed only a few times after he and I both retired. We enjoyed a Welsh heritage.

Many good family memories were made at OBX. Spending all day at the beach with Paul listening to his 50’s favorites. Afterwards, Paul would prepare his favorite BBQ rib dinner including corn on the cob covered in salt and butter, of course. Evenings spent playing games around the table including Trivial Pursuit of which Paul was the master. On our final day, there was always the family photo taken in front of the beach house. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful memories. Love you Paul.

I am so saddened to hear of Paul’s passing. He was a good friend. We shared the same birthday and way before high school. We used to play together because our backyards touched. H was a special guy and my deep condolences. Go to his beautiful family.
