My granny wasn't the toughest woman I ever met. No, she was the toughest person I ever met. She didn't take nothing from anybody and loved her kids. I wake up every day to strive to be that tough. Love and miss you granny.

Mamaw was a great example of love being an action and not a word. No matter the situation she loved everybody. I miss her a lot but I smile when I realize someday I'll see her in glory :)

She welcomed me with open arms and made me feel right at home. She gave excellent advice to Mike and I on several different occasions that we will use for the rest of our lives. I could definitely tell she would do anything for her family. Everytime I went to her house she always asked me if I was hungry. I am very blessed to have gotten the opportunity to know her.

My mother she was one of a kind. Never met a stranger, would give you her last dollar if she thought you needed it. My mother was my world.She took care of all 10 of us by herself.Strong woman she was. Only if I can be 10% of her I'd be happy.
