Pearlie Mae Walton was Born in Hogansville, GA in March of 1940 to Daisy Lee Meadows and Luther Mckissic. Lived in New York City and came to Atlanta, GA where she retired.

She leaves behind (2) Daughters, Barbara Walton Peeks and Angela Person;(3) Granddaughters, April Person, Tanaysha Mapp and Fredericka Mapp; (2) Grandsons, Adrian Walton, Armard Person; (4) Great-Granddaughters, Shanelle Person, Allayah Person Kennadi Jones, Zyaira Stargell; (5) Great-Grandsons, K’narrius Mapp, Brandon Hunter, Montana Stargell, Antres Stargell, Noah Person; (3) Sisters, Jean Ray, Jeanette Meadows and Kathy Meadows; (2) Brothers, Tommie Meadows and Archie Meadows and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.

She was preceded in death by husband Lawrence Walton, father Luther McKissic, mother Daisy Meadows, and grandson Parvell Walton.
