This memorial website was created in the memory of my beloved mother, Penelope Thrower-Pemrick, 54, born on January 31, 1957 and passed away on October 2, 2011. We will remember her forever. There will never be another woman with your grace, and beauty <3

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.

Penny, I mourn your loss but thank you for touching my spirit so positively. You were a colleague, an adviser, a therapist and a friend. You will always hold a place in my heart. As Penny once comforted me with the following poem I hope that you find comfort too.

"My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother." -George Washington
I will never look at another woman with the same respect, & grace as I did you. Every orchid I see will make me smile knowing you are looking down on me! <3

Dear Penny, Not sure why I decided to google you, but glad I did. I guess I was supposed to find this wonderful channel to say hello. I have spent the day going through and sorting old pictures, and with each picture comes a memory.  I wouldn't have wanted to go through college or share an apartment with anyone else. We really had some good times...wow, and an understatement.  Lol. I found cards from you, pictures, a flood of memories. I'm glad you are at peace.  ❤️
