Hiya mucker, me and brother Pete were talking about you today, he said every time he here's the Boney M. song Brown girl in the ring . it reminds him of when we were all at shell haven when we all used to sing it in the van going to what ever area we were working at. And the time the chippies set a big rubber spider up in the roof of their workshop, They set it up so it would come down right in front of you, so they laid a plan on the bench of the area they wanted you to take a load of shuttering to. They called you in, took you to the bench to show you the drawing, and Ronnie Manning lowered the spider, but you were to close to the bench and instead of coming down in front of you it landed on the back of your neck. I have never heard a scream like that from that day to this. Miss ya kid. Doey

Hey Kid, have been thinking about you today, and some of the things that happened at shell haven, like the time it was your birthday,you asked George the tea boy to get every one a cream cake. When we came in to have our breakfast, George said cream cake for you all from Pete Harris,because it's his birthday, then we all got up and gave you the bumps, then you were held down while 2 of the carpenters nailed the sleeves and legs of your boiler suit to the floor. Jim Kimble came in to get us out to work, we all went out,and left you nailed to the floor. I can still see you laying there with cream cake all over your face and more private places. And the time I was sitting on the toilet, I hooked my claw hammer on top of the door, then you came in saying Doey you in ere, kicked the door and the hammer fell off of the door on onto my head. Hey Mucker, I only found last night that you were gone,i'm still stunned. From the time I first met you working for Mowlems at Shell Haven to the last time I saw you in June, you were over the moon when Nittaya got her visa to come over to be with you, life can be so cruel,just glad you both had some time together,although it was only for a short time. I've so many great memories of you kid. I'm just glad that I knew you and I will never forget ya. Peter you lit up mine & Grahams life we love you so much and miss you, I always had a laugh with you especially when you phoned you were so cheeky and naughty, now I am going to miss them phone calls, and when you visited us you would chat for ages with me and Graham and it was ( as you would say lower than a snakes belly, that was your and Graham's saying) when it started to get very saucy it was a great laugh, I remember when we were younger and the children used to play tricks on you especially the lookalike chucky doll they would always leave outside the toilet so when you came out you would let of a scream, and I would have to move the doll, you would say KID and laugh, they played a few tricks on you but that was the crack and you would enjoy it, and you would always come around about 7 ish and as I'm only going to stay about a hour and you would look at the clock and it was past 1oclock in the morning he always say time goes very fast around ours as he used to enjoy the banter . We love you and miss you but you will always be remembered in our hearts, forever . Xxx
