Randy William Jernigan, 46, a former resident of Franklinton passed away Saturday, April 26th, 2014 in Wendell, N.C.

A native of Durham County, the son of William Elvis Jernigan and Wilma Wiseman Gray.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a painter most of his life.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 30th, 2014 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Jimmy Pulley.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Durham.

He is survived by his parents, Pops and Wilma Wiseman Gray of Franklinton, four sisters; Theressa Budds of Tennessee, Jeniene Wrenn of Holden Beach, Pam Williams of Jacksonville, Shelia Gray of Creedmoor, three brothers;  Kenneth Keith of Tennessee, Tom Keith of Garland and Benjie Jernigan of Tennessee.  He was preceded in death by a sister Tammy Marie Gray.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 A.M. Wednesday prior to the funeral service at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times the home of his mother.
