Diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the doctors said that he wouldn’t make it past the age of two.. but our God said otherwise. His battle has definitely been tough but he was always geared and prepared to fight. Shaun spent the first 8 years of his life in various medical facilities and eventually made his way home to Barnegat NJ, where he was united with his family. Shaun was raised by his mother, Veronica Bivins and step father, the late Robert Butler. He went on to attend school where he began to prosper. He eventually graduated from Burlington County Special Services in 2006. Shaun enjoyed music and dancing. His favorite tune was the "Pizza Dance" written and created by his sisters. It brought the family great joy and a ton of laughs!
He is predeceased by his late grandmother, Suvetta Bivins and his step father, Robert Butler. Rashaun is survived by his mother, Veronica Bivins, sisters, Shantel(Christian), Rashonda(Michael) and Candice(Matthew), his grandfather, James Bivins Sr, nephews Alejandro, Jordan, Carter and a special uncle, James Bivins Jr.(Paula) and host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
