Mr. Reginald S. Grubbs was born on October 24, 1951 in Goodwater, AL to the late Mrs. Ledell Powell Grubbs (the late Mr. Maso Grubbs Jr.).

He joined the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Goodwater, AL at an early age.

He graduated from J.D. Thompson High School in Cottage Grove, AL and also attended N.F. Nunnelley State Technical College in Childersburg, AL, Alexander City Community College in Alexander City, AL, and TESST Electronic Institute in Hyattsville, MD.

He moved to Washington, D.C. and worked for Beckman Coulter for over 25 years and received many awards and commendations during his tenure. He retumed home to Alabama in 2004.

He departed this life at Russell Hospital in Alexander City, AL on March 29,2012.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter Camberlee Ford Finley (Jarret) of Lithonia, GA; two sisters Maxine Grubbs of Alexander City, AL and Jeanise of Goodwater, AL; three brothers Terry Grubbs (Arlesa) of Goodwater, AL, Jermaine Chatmon of Goodwater, AL, and Joseph Mayers (Sharon) of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family would also like to acknowledge special friends: Ms. Carolyn Hutchinson and family and Ms. Lettie Black Ware and family, all of Alexander City, AL.
