I have to share a wedding story with everyone.  Leading up to my wedding, I was very nervous. For one, I was getting married (ha) and second, my Dad was not going to be physically there to give his baby girl away.

Clouds and rain were what the forecast was calling for.  It started off cloudy in the morning, then poured, then went back to clouds.  As Chuck and I were saying our vows, sunlight poured through the church.  It was such a beautiful moment and I held back tears knowing that that was Dad's way of showing he was right beside me.

I miss you so much Dad and wish I could take you in my arms.  I dream of you often and think of you always.  Keep giving me signs as it brings me great comfort.  Love you Daddy!

This was a beautiful day that I had a chance to spend with loved ones.  I am so thankful Dad was able to come out and enjoy my birthday and graduation.  On this day, we went down to Chicago, toured Navy Pier, saw Clydesdale horses, and went out to eat at Bubba Gump's.  I will never forget this day and will forever cherish these memories!

Love this picture.  That was Dad's look whenever one of us did or said something questionable.  What did you say Rich? :-)

Memories of Family

Rick we know you are still with us always in spirit. I am sure you are looking over all of us. Know that you are missed but I am sure you are enjoying your times with Dad and Bri.

I am sure you remember all of the times we went out in the woods to catch the many frogs in the creek. Also the many forts that we built that we felt would keep us safe from everything.

As we got a little older your most treasured possessions were Ashley and Richard. They are both wonderful young caring adults and loving parents. They are a reflection of your most admirable characteristics. I know you were proud of their achievements.

I reflect upon your many enjoyments such as playing your guitar. Nicky was amazed at your ability and loved your spirit. We loved the occasions we shared setting off fireworks and the warm campfires sharing memories.

Rest in peace my loving brother. Hope you are having some Bud Lights with Dad and Bri around the campfire. Will send a light up for you at camp this year.I know how much you enjoyed your visits. Your spirit will forever remain strong in our hearts.
