Today marks three years that daddy went to Heaven. There are moments that hurt but the best moments are knowing that he's in a safe and happy place. I can still hear his laugh and I hear him telling me he loves me. He was an awesome artist and I'm grateful that God gave him such a talent that can live on forever. I will hold onto these memories and I look forward to meeting you again in Heaven. I love you "Daddy".

I'm deeply missing my daddy & friend and all the fun times we had together. I am thankful to him for the many christian influences he shared with us throughout our childhood and adult years. I'm looking forward to the day that I will get to walk with him on the streets paved of gold. :)

This wonderful man just so happens to be my daddy and he's truly missed more than words can express. He was also a wonderful artist so if there's anyone out there who has a painting my daddy did for you, we'd love to see it posted if at all possible. It would be very interesting to know just how many he shared his talent with. Thank you Wanda (my sweet sister) for starting this tribute.

A simple Man

January 27, 2015

My daddy was a simple man . He worked hard all his life . We didn't have a lot of money , but we were well provided for . Daddy's daddy died when he was 4 yrs. old . His mother and Jesus raised 6 kids .
Daddy taught us how to sing for Jesus . We grew up singing in the car . Daddy would take us to churches having a gospel singing , buy the group's records , and we would learn the songs . Daddy taught us to praise the Lord through music . I remember one of the first groups we learned songs from was The Day Family . Thank you daddy for giving us the encouragement to get up in church and sing the songs you taught us .
