He is survived by his wife & highschool sweetheart Linda, mother Bernice Lane, sons Dominic (Miki-Lee), Reno (Mahealani) and Bobby.

Dear Linda, Dom, Reno and Bobby,
I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your dad. He was such a kind, generous, and thoughtful person that we will all miss greatly. The legacy that he left is that I see him living on in each of you – thinking of others and always willing to help out, working so hard , but playing hard and knowing how to have fun and enjoying life, walking softly , but having a loud yell every now and then! Please know that I will always be here to help you out in any way that I can, as your dad was always there to help out all of us in his “family”! Love, Auntie Kat

Dearest Linda and family-It has taken me days to wrap my mind around the thought that Bob is gone. Some many memories of our wonderful time together as a part of the family. From that first meeting on Easter so many years ago, when we crashed your dinner and fell in love with you all at first sight. The boy's trips to car shows and car races or Paul just relaxing on your patio and just making himself at home -to the sister's trips- to just visiting. Bob and your friendship over the years has meant so much to my family and we have treasured the kindness and love shown by you both to all of us. Bob will always be Uncle Bob, we loved him and will miss him. Hold the wonderful memories of him close to your hearts, he was a great man and a great friend.

Linda and family, It was very sad to hear of the passing of Bob. There was so much fun in our lives with the both of you growing up with the both of you in Kailua. This guy used to do so much crazy stuff to make you laugh all the time. I can close my eyes and remember all the crazy things he used to do when we all drove trucks for Oahu Refuse. I am sure Clayton and Gabe can back me up. He was and will always be there when you need him. I remember the night he left for the Army, we were at the airport and of course he was himself, just clowning around like it was just another day. We left a lot of tears there, mostly from you. Both of you proved what love is and how long it could last. Till today, every time I hear that song by Diana Ross, Ain't No Mountain High Enough, I think of the both of you. Take care and god bless you and your family. Love to all of you. Cliff Boteilho
