You introduced me to the pleasure of wood carving. I will always remember your kindness, as a teacher and friend.

Dear Red,

I know you are looking down from heaven and smiling - you always had a smile for everything. Thanks for all the times we sat and talked about plains, cars, politics and movies. I will miss you beating the crap out of us in dominoes.

My heart was sadden when Donna told you had pass. Understand this, you were like a father to a lot of use.

Will miss you Santa Claus.

Love

Dale

From our third grade romps at Fries Ave. Elementary in the 40's to our enduring friendship and doing the geezer shuffle almost 70 years later. So quick the years.......
I'll always remember the friendship, the laughs, your generosity. Wilmas has lost a favorite son, Judy and I a treasured friend. Have a smooth ride, pal.  Jim Waight

I miss you my friend, I have many memories of you with my Dad (R.G. Watkins), and the times we had breakfast together @ Denny's. Also the lunches at the Pensioners meetings! R.I.P. my friend!

I can't put into words what you have meant to me and my family for the past eleven years and how empty my heart is without you walking beside me. I know you would want me to be strong, and I am trying.
For now ............. my love forever and a day!

A proud day for Red and myself

Shared by Connie Williams on August 12, 2017

On this day my Grandson graduated from High School. I was a very big day for all of us. Red and Matt had a good relationship and he showed great respect to Red.

Was Red a Grandpa? YES

Shared by Connie Williams on August 12, 2017

When our little blessing arrived my daughter bundled her and handed her to Red saying "Abby this is your Grampa", and then handed her to Red. I can not tell you how proud he was of that day and how much that meant to him.

funny

One day Red decided to help me out by watering the birds in my aviary. Next thing I hear is that big booming voice of his  saying "are you supposed to get this wet?"  Such a thoughtful guy.
