Family of Robert John Welshman

September 11, 2015

Robert John Welshman   was born to Violet Irene Seymour and John James Welshman, being half newfoundlander thanks to his father, it is my belief he got his humour from his dad and also his own nature. Oh how I love the clown he is. Robert was the third in line to seven siblings. Brenda Bonnie Robert Diane Garnet Brian and Kevin. Before moving to Ottawa at the age of about eight. The family grew up south of ottawa in small towns such as cardinal ventnor and spencerville area. John and violet met in kemptville where violet was raise. Her mother Eliza being a nurse raised 12 children. Robert's father john raised in cornerbrook newfoundland join the british navy and siled from there, abandoned ship in montreal and married in kemptville to violet. John became a farmhand for many a year and violet a housewife. Injury caused the family to move to ottawa when Robert's father broke his neck on slick ice and became disabled. Being raised in a low rental community as a child for robert was a struggle defending his siblings to ignorant community children. Oh how I love how age and time can change things. As a young man Robert started a family and had three children corrina robert junior (bobby) and charles. Residing then in the Prescott area. Later in years Robert married Kathy Rozack from stittsville a best friend to his sister brenda. They had two children Kristina and Joshua. Robert loved all people and accepted eveyone. His confidence and welcoming smile made it very easy for him. A dedicated fisher and family man was very important to him. As the saying goes only god takes the best, and you my brother are the best there can be. Don't worry about us you taught us how to take care of family and friends and through this all you live in us. Until we meet again you are forever with us. Love you to the moon and back and miss you even more. God keep you well my big brother, from your loving sister. Brenda
