Grandma

Roberta R. "Bertie" Romero, 70, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, was called home to be with our Lord on Friday, October 28, 2016. 

Born July 12th, 1946, to Robert and Wanita Romero in Chicago, Illinois, Roberta, to all who were fortunate enough to know her, was a loving, kind, and generous person who touched many lives. 

A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by four loving children: Elizabeth Lestinsky, Tammy (John) Stallbaumer, Joseph (Francesca) Lestinsky, and Jason (Kim) Lestinsky, and fourteen grandchildren. Roberta also leaves behind her parents, Robert and Wanita Romero, brothers Richard and Ronald Romero, and sister Rebecca Romero. Roberta was totally dedicated to her family in all aspects of their lives and will forever be missed by all who knew her.

 All are welcome to celebrate her life Sunday, October 30th, at 12:00pm, at 18044 West Georgia Court, Litchfield Park, AZ, 85340.

La recuerdo como era de joven una chica muy sonriente y muy bonita.
cuando nos visitó en México. Siento mucho esta perdida, pero ella ya goza de Una vida más plena y sin sufrimientos. DIOS tenga mucho consuelo a todos sus hijos , nietos , hermanos y en especial a mis tíos Xavier y Wanita.

I will always remember Roberta with a smile on her face! I am sorry she had to endure so much physical pain, but know she found solace in the love of her family. Thinking back on all your wonderful memories with her will give you comfort. My sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
