My Saviour, My Friend, My Brother

November 9, 2016

My brother was my saviour

He helped me overcome my fear

Of being alone

You were always there

I don’t know how you

Remained so strong

But I thank the heavens that you did

Cause Lord only knows

Where I’d be if I never let you in

You were my saviour

My grace, cause you never turned away

You were always there

My guardian angel

You’ll always be my guardian angel

November 9, 2016

My FINAL day in hospital!!!! Not only has this last 12 weeks literally saved my life - but its also changed life FOREVER. Big "Thank You" to all those whom have shown me kindness , compassion, support, comfort, understanding and love.

An extra special Thank you to my brother Robin Lcfc Ali for everything. His determination, tenacity, strength of character and love me has ensured I've received quality care, and that I've been given the chance of a new beginning.

I will always be grateful to have him as my brother. I'm appreciative and blessed

Finally, sincere thanks to my family and close friends for forgiving me for pushing you all so very far away from me, for hurting you, for rejecting your offers of help previously and for not being able to be there for you, when you needed me.

Big love, respect, & admiration for my MUM, Diane Nicholls, one of the strongest women I've ever met. Blessed to have her in my life.....she amazes and inspires me every single day .....

I am one blessed and extremely lucky lady!!! - and I shall never take that for granted again .

ONE LOVE! BLESSED BE )0(

Childhood

November 9, 2016

"When I look upon a photograph.

Not so long ago, not so faded.

A picture of my beloved brother.

The memories had filled my mind.

The times we cried and the times we laughed.

How brother watches over me,

Makes sure I'm not hurt.

When I was sick, he made me well.

We'd go on shopping trips.

We thought we would grow old together.

Through the years we thought it was true.

Brother and I, protectors of each other

Then time had come to call.

My brother had to go.

He passed away, he went to eternal sleep.

God is holding him as he sleeps.

Until he comes to call.

All I have are memories and a photograph."

MY BROTHER

November 9, 2016

"When you were here I felt like you would protect me from anything and anybody, now I feel so vunerable, sooo weak, I need you to be here for me, so I can be strong just because I know you've got my back. I need a hug from your big arms and shoulders that stretched all the way acoss me and made me fell so small but so engulfed with protection. I need your hug and a kiss on top of my head to tell me this will be ok."

December 2014, after attempting suicide, Robin became his sisters advocate .  Taking it upon himself to sort out her crisis, personally .  He worked tirelessly to ensure she received a high quality of care for her mental health hospitalisation .  Dealing with housing issues ,  debt, and social care providers .  Robin, made a documentary to highlight the failings in the care of his eldest sister , Kristie and her children .  Making formal written complaints ,  Robin made a huge difference to her quality of life and future care package .

HE LITERALLY SAVED HER LIFE!
