Dear Roger, I'm thinking of you and your family. Your father sounds like an amazing person. That is no surprise to me. You grew up with a great role model. 92 is a very respectable longevity to have accomplished. My dad died 2 years ago at 88. He was also an engineer and in the Navy 1943-45. Your friend and colleague, Bruce

Dear Roger,
How strangely poignant and incredibly meaningful that your father passed just hours after your moving portrait of him to our Berklee community. I had noted and sent some of your words to my wife, as an inspiration on How To Live. So, this loss is deeply felt, though I never had the privilege of meeting such a wonderful man. I am so sorry, Roger, and hope your heart can receive God's comfort in the days ahead. "Be still, my soul..." Your Dad must be so proud of you, Sir. Mushtageen, Roger Sr.

Peace,
Tom Baskett

Larry and I send our condolences. This past November we lost Larry's Dad (age 93), another WWII veteran. I love the stories from the "greatest generation" and I use these times to reflect on these stories and see the lessons these great men and women shared with us. Most of them center on compassion, love, and gratitude. Your Dad sound like a wonderful man who passed his grace on to his son. Bless you all in this time of remembrance. With Warmth, Jane
