My Dad
There a few words to describe my father but I'll try -
A loving and devoted HUSBAND to Mom for nearly 60 years, a supportive and caring FATHER, a loyal and faithful UNCLE, a loving Grandfather, a true FRIEND to many and a faithful Catholic and believer in Jesus Christ.
I’m the oldest of six children that Dad and Mom raised with Stephen, Christine, Brian, Karen and Ronnie. He love spending time with us and his grand children Tiffany, Hunter, Michael, Matthew, Claire and little Brian.
If you knew my father, you know he was a fighter! He had quite a few battles with different cancers lymphoma, lung, skin, liver and heart issues over the last 10-15 years and he gave them all HELL – which is a great tribute of his will to live and love for his wife and life with us. I give Mom all the credit as Dad's advocate through it all, leveraging her nursing experience and drive to enjoy life was the key motivator for him- as they traveled the world together and never missed a chance to visit the casino or a great meal with friends and family.
I'll remember all the great times camping, long family drives, visits with his grandchildren and special trips to the Italian Northern Lakes, the cruise down the Rhine river, the trips to Napa and Cancun. These memories will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart.
We will miss your laughter and smile - I love you Dad!
