There is no greater legacy than that of a life poured out for Jesus. We've come to know and love Ruben and Grace as hearts joined in a common goal--to strengthen and bless the Family of God. What a joy to recount the many lives they have touched for the Kingdom. Our hearts are saddened by Ruben's passing, but we are encouraged to know that we will meet again at Jesus' feet.

My Uncle Ruben was a man who always searched for empathy when we met and talked. He encouraged. He imparted wisdom thru stories. He joked and tried to make those around him smile. He was an uncle who left me with many wonderful memories, from childhood thru adulthood. I love you Uncle Ruben.

dear Grace and daughters. My love and prayers be with you. I shall never forget your wonderful husbnd and father. The last time I say Reuben was when he sang at Henry's funeral "The Light House". Our hearts are saddened to hear of our Precious Ruben 's passing but rejoicing to know that he is with Jesus. He was a wonderful friend & brother and always up for a laugh and good conversation. My parents, Ted and Hortense Haynes, met Ruben and Grace when they started attending Ash Avenue A/G. We remember Ruben's passion for sharing the gospel and singing God's praises. These two couples seemed to be there for each other throughout their friendship, the last time being when Ruben and Grace were with us at our mother's side at her passing. Now they are together once again.

We will all miss Ruben. I remember him for his passion in sharing his love of our Lord Jesus Christ. He always prayed such wonderful prayers at our family dinners. May he rest in peace and may God's Peace be with your family as you grieve your loss.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Ruben! I met Ruben and Grace through our dear friend Goldie Reynolds, who is now rejoicing with Ruben in Heaven. 

My thoughts and prayers are with his lovely wife Grace and beautiful daughters at this very difficult time in their lives.
