A lane I so often travel down,
Because it leads to you.

Always a hand when one is down;
Always true, thoughtful and kind,
Wonderful memories she left behind.

Let Sadia be with us in our memories ,"Smiling", forever
This memorial has been created in the memory of our colleague, Ms. Saadia Rafiq, born on October 12, 1986 and passed away on August 6, 2012.
“Our thoughts are ever with you
Though you have passed away.
And those who loved you dearly
Are thinking of you today.”
We wish We had better news but on August 6th, about 8:00 AM (17th Ramadan-ul-Mubarik), She left us to go on to her eternal journey.
"No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
And only Allah can tell us why."
Now it is our chance to say "thank you" for the way she brightened our lives, even though Allah granted her but half a life. It is indeed an honour, a privilege to pay tribute to her. She was remarkable in so many ways. She was the very essence of compassion, of duty, of style, of beauty; a symbol of selfless humanity, noble, so well-respected and everyone always has such kind things to say about her. There is a temptation to rush to canonize her memory. There is no need to do so. She stands tall enough as a human being of unique qualities. Indeed to sanctify her memory would be to miss out on the very core of her being, her wonderfully mischievous sense of humour with the laugh, her joy for life transmitted wherever she took her smile, and the sparkle in those unforgettable eyes, her boundless energy which she could barely contain. This is a fact that she was a willing hand, hard worker, an active mind, kind friend, humble person, Ready and steadfast. It is very hard to say goodbye and we don't want to, but we need to remember that she touched so many people's lives, so positively. She leaves an amazing legacy behind." We all have a kaleidoscope of memories that we will always carry with us - memories that defined her; memories that we will always hold dear.
"Allah saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So HE put HIS arms around you,
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
we watched you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands now rest.
Allah broke our hearts to prove to us
HE only takes the best."
“MAY ALLAH AZZAWAJALLAH SHANOHU BRING HIS PEACE AND BLESSINGS ON HER SOUL AND GRANT HER THE HIGHEST RANKS IN JANNAT-UL-FIRDOUS…AMEEN”"
Eid-ul-Adha marks the culmination of the sacrifice given by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) on the plains of Mina thousands of years ago.
On this day, in place of the sacrifice of his son, Prophet Ismail, Allah(Glory and Greatness be to Him) confirmed the status of Prophet Ibrahim and substituted a lamb in place of his son to be offered in His way - a tradition which continues till today.Eid ul-Adha is second in the series of Eid festivals, after Eid al-Fitr during the Islamic month of Holy Ramadhan that Muslims celebrate across the world at the end of the Hajj pilgrimage in Makkah. On this day Muslims sacrifice animals which have been deemed Halaal, or fit for sacrifice. They not only eat the meat themselves but distribute it amongst their neighbors, relatives and the poor and hungry.
The underlying flavor is the spirit of sacrifice or Qurbani, commemorating Prophet Abraham's great act of faith many centuries ago. Almighty God put Prophet Abraham to a most difficult trial, the details of which are described in the Glorious Qur'an. During this day, men, women, and children are expected to dress in their finest clothing. For the millions at Hajj pilgrimage, it is a big day. On this day, the pilgrims reach the grounds of Mina where they sacrifice an animal. It was here that Prophet Abraham is believed to have sacrificed his son Prophet Ishmael. The charitable instincts of the Muslim community are demonstrated during Eid ul-Adha by the concerted effort to see that no impoverished Muslim is left without sacrificial food during this day. Coming immediately after the Day of Arafat (when Prophet Muhammad pronounced the final seal on the religion of Islam), Eid ul-Adha gives concrete realization to what the Muslim community ethic means in practice.
We being a muslim, should keep in mind that Islam lays insist upon sacrifices for each other. It discourages selfishness and materialism. Allah almighty loves those, who love His creatures especialy the human being and sacrifice their money, time, valuables or any means to comfort the suffering mankind.
In the end please do remember the "Marhumeen", on this very feastiv day by visiting and praying for them. May Allah Almighty forgive us all and those who have left us for good, all our near and dear ones.May Allah almighty raise the ranks of "Sadia" amongst His beloved friends and keep her soul in the most blessed and beautiful place in Jannat-ul- Firdous. Aameen
They say there is a reason
They say that time will heal
But neither time nor reason
Will change the way we feel.
For no one knows the heartache
that lies behind our smiles,
No one knows how many times
we have broken down and cried.
We want to tell you something
so there won't be any doubt,
You're so wonderful to think of
but so hard to be without.
We cannot bring the old days back,
when we were all together
The family chain is broken now,
but memories live forever.
Only 3 weeks before this very day, Sadia's soul departed from us. Today is Eid-ul-Fitar, a very special and sacred day for us. But it is not like previous ones. It’s different. Yes! It is; because on this eid, SADIA is not amongst us to celebrate it. It’s very hard time especially for her mother, along with the rest of family. They really are going to feel her absence. So do us. A very special, pious, down to earth, contented and noble person like her indeed deserves to be missed by each and every one of us. We are with her family in this heavy time of grief and pain. Please do remember her on this eve of celebration and pray for that pretty soul that Allah Azzawajal may raise her ranks amongst HIS loved ones and make her eternal place (grave) enlighten with HIS lovely and kind blessings everafter. Sooner or later we also have to have say yes to HIS call and return to HIM.
