Sandy lives on through wisdom

Although the darkness of living without sandy looms in my vicinity, pangs of pain and laughter shoot through my heart each time the wisdom she imparted on me is remembered.  Some people find their loved one in a song, in the sighting of a bird, or the blooming of a flower I find sandy in the lessons she taught me. Armed by the wisdom and knowledge she gave me, i valiantly trudge the road. I think she’d have it no other way.  

Four years ago I was blessed enough to hold your hand as you transitioned away from us, I would have it no other way.

i love you so much. Miss you forever and ever. Your voice is guiding me as i guide others through the journey of recovery. I can't believe I'm going through what I am without you, but your wisdom resides within me.  
To the fighting, the warring, the violent storms that crash within me, and around me.
To the ones that come to help show me what hurts, in order to be healed.
To the people who are on this healing journey with me, that are not allowing me to stay small,
but are forcing growth to come bursting forth from the wound that binds us together.

In Loving Memory of My Friend Sandy

I met Sandy in the rooms as a matriarch of what was one of the largest sponsorship families in Atlanta, Georgia. In all the years I knew Sandy, she was a friend and confidante who was able to deliver the hard truth in a way that was never offensive, and always delivered with such wisdom and a smile. Sandy was there for everyone, in the good times and the bad. She is one of the few people I've known to live her life in joy and she knew exactly how to let a friend discover, on their own, their mistakes, but she was there when requested.

Sandy Page will truly be missed. I love you and I thank you for being a good friend to me and countless others!! I hope your transition is more beautiful and grand than we could ever have imagined!!!! Love Angie B!!
