|Let the memory of Sean's sweet smile, his loving heart and fine music be with us forever.|
This permanent memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Sean Spears, 44, born on September 14, 1969 who made his transition on January 19, 2014.
By subscribing to the E-mail notifications you will be informed when new things are added. Sean had a rich library of music he performed that is archived at Unity of Springfield some of which will be available here later.
The awesome slide show put together by Cindy Goodwin and John Merrifield experienced by those who visited the Unity on Saturday 25th will slowly be moved to this site. Our goal is to also have videos.
The purpose of this memorial is celebrate a life of a man who’s love in his heart was always felt by those who met him and to continue that treasured gift he gave us on into eternity.
Please subscribe and join in this celebration by contributing your story or tribute from your perspective because it will enhance the healing process for all who loved him.
In this endeavor, healing will be enhanced and we can remember him forever.
"It's hard to believe a year ago today our lives were changed forever. We went through our "firsts without you / Sean" and it hurt like heck but we smiled, cried and pushed on. I miss you sooooo much and accept this hole, hurt, etc... will never go away. I'm appreciative of the time we had with you, yet regret not having more. I imagine you singing & dancing, feeling the music with a big smile on your sweet face. Love you and miss you the rest of my life, little brother. Big Hug & Kiss"
"Hey brother Sean. I know you are with us in this great expansive Universe…sending you love and appreciation for how you've touched my life."
"Happy Birthday My Dear Friend....... Sue and then You, came into my life at a time I need soooooo much love, and you both gave it to me with open armed hugs and such love. I still have all of your emails from both of you and treasure them in my heart. You both brought me so far. I am in gratitude for the rest of my life for the both of you for being in my life and helping me to change, cause I wanted to change. I did, too! I am a work in progress, life is good and just keeps getting better!!! Thanks to you two, you have made the world a much better place to live for me and I know for many. <3 Namaste' and Big Loving Hugs"
"As time goes by, I miss the person that Sean was even more, his warm smile and hugs, his gentle encouragement, and the positive, uplifting effect he had on those who came into his presence. So grateful I got to know him and be a witness to the great love he and Sue shared. And I will always have the memory (and video!) of him singing at my wedding! RIP Sean - we WILL see you again!"
"Loved singing with Sean and Sue at Unity. So enjoyed our date nights and ball room dancing together too. Your loving physical presence will be missed tremendously but we know your spirit is with us forever. What a positive impact you made in our lives and in this world!
Amy & Jon"
"The profound effect of a friend in your life is revealed in their absence. I moved into my quiet a few moments ago, and took time to reach out to Sean and embrace him as he came in the door for a cigar and a hug. At that moment, I smilingly celebrated his transition into the loving arms of God. But in the next moment, I found tears ... because I already miss my hug ..."
"Sean's loving self, with his kindness, goodness, caring authentic self and his beautiful voice will forever be in my mind and heart. ♥"
"Although Sean is the age of my children, I always felt nurtured by his hug. He had a special name for me which I will always cherish: ProsperiDee. I know that Sean is "soaring with the eagles and singing with the angels."
"While I wasn't blessed to know Sean, I can tell he was and still is a bright light in our world. May peace enfold all who have known and loved him. And dear Sue, God has you. You are enfolded in God's love always and I pray you feel that love in this moment."
"Sean’s hugs were like hugs from the soul, his smile, and beautiful voice always touched my heart. You will so be missed!! I hear him say "Rejoice" now and always."
"Sean's light makes this world a better and brighter place.
May angels surround us all."
"From Sean's spiritual family to his family...All who knew Sean loved him. We grieve with you at the loss of his physical presence, and yet we rejoice in the freedom he now enjoys. No longer bound by this physical world, we know he will always be with us, as close as the thought of him, as constant as the beat of our hearts."
""Sean Spears was always one to greet you with a smile, handshake, hug, asking how you were doing. He was one of those persons who made you feel better having had that encounter. I can hear his voice and songs in my head. Sean Spears will be long remembered."
A permanent memorial site is here:
""Sean's gentle kindness, his graceful words of encouragement both spoken and in song, will always be remembered.""
