Thank you for visiting this memorial website which has been setup to honour the memory of our beloved parents, Charles and Betty Davies.
Both Charles and Betty led interesting and eventful lives, experiencing some tough situations which caused them to place their hope and trust in God. Their lives had a positive influence on their 5 children and many others who had contact with them over the years. This memorial website is an attempt to convey some of the many memories we have of them through photos, videos, spoken tributes, written words and music. We do hope that it will be a blessing to you as you browse through the various links.
The local and national press have picked up on this memorial website and there seems to be a keen interest from others in setting up memorial websites for their loved ones using QR Code technology. If you'd like advice on creating a memorial website and generating a QR Code for a headstone then download this factsheet or send an email to the author of this website, joe@data-flow.co.uk for further information.
Charles was caught up in an awful episode of maritime history and amazingly survived 10 days in an open lifeboat, exposed to the harsh Arctic elements. Click the following link to watch a documentary about the infamous PQ17 Convoy.
Tributes are short messages commemorating Charles, or an expression of support to his closest family and friends. Leave your first tribute here, and others will follow.
