A family only memorial service was held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30th, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Mission Basilica in San Juan Capistrano by Reverend Michael Pontarelli.  Jay and Marjanka TamBurina hosted a luncheon immediately following at The Cedar Creek Inn in San Juan Capistrano.

Sharon Hollenback TamBurina, 71 of Aliso Viejo, California, passed away May 12, 2011 at 4:30 a.m. with her family by her side after a courageous eighteen year battle with breast cancer.

Born December 16th, 1939 in Sayre, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Veronica Mahoney Hollenback and Harold E. Hollenback.

Sharon was a graduate of St. Agnes High School, Class of 1957.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Tom) Barr of Irvine, CA; son, David (Karen) TamBurina of Gresham, OR; and son, Michael TamBurina of San Carlos, CA; five grandchildren: Ryan, Mackenzie, Taylor, Michael and Vincent; her mother, Veronica Hollenback of Towanda, PA; sisters, Charmaine (David) Stempel of Towanda, PA and Theresa Chila of Avalon, NJ; brothers William (Linda) and Thomas Hollenback of Towanda, PA; sister-in-law, Sheryn Hollenback of Towanda, PA; former sister-in-law, Lois Hollenback of Long Beach, CA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers; James, Gary and Stephen Hollenback.
