I thought of Shera today, as if she had never left us and she was just one of the many friends that are still around that I've just lost touch with. I think it's easier that way, I spoke aloud to her as if she would be able to hear what I had to say because it's comforting in a way... truthfully I feel guilty for never having gone to see her one last time when I had the chance...

I am not only honored but blessed to have had Shera's friendship. I told her many times how much I admired her strength and joy If I sit real quiet, I almost hear her say...."She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels. By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees. And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting. And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me. Love you Shera.
