Shirley Irene McCallister, age 67, of Salem, died at 8:55 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. She was born November 18, 1946 in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late Floyd W. and Wanita Mae (Frederick) Smith. She was a Leetonia High School graduate. Her husband, Willard Ray McCallister Sr., whom she married November 25, 1965, survives her along with two sons, Willard R. McCallister, Jr. of Salem and Joseph C. (Tonya) McCallister of Salem; two daughters, Wanita L. (Travis Sr.) Bolton of Lisbon and Amanda C. McCallister of Salem; three brothers; three sisters; and 13 grandchildren. Twins, a sister and brother, preceded her in death. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the St. Paul Catholic Church
