Sidney Carey Arnold Jr. of Littleton passed away at his home on November 4, 2015. His walk on earth among us has ended but he continues his walk with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.

Sidney was born on September 5, 1934 in Creedmoor, Granville County, NC to the late Ola Mae and Sidney Carey Arnold Sr. Sidney graduated from Creedmoor High School and joined the US Navy in June ,1952. The Navy brought him to Yokosuka, Japan in 1953, where he met his late wife, Kyoko Zkeda and was blissfully married for 42 years, before Kyoko lost her battle to cancer. He remarried Annie Self and she died suddenly after twelve years of marriage. Sidney retired from the navy in April of 1977.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Bethesda Baptist Church in Palmer Springs, VA.

Sidney is survived by his wife, Maurine Manning King, one son, Danny Lee Arnold and wife Shelia Russell Arnold, and granddaughter, Ali Dare Arnold of Palmer Springs, VA , two sisters, Ruth Boyce of Oklahoma City, OK Judy Brown and her husband Kent of Clarksville. VA and two brothers, Max Arnold(Ann) of Aurora,Co., Mike Arnold of Washington State. He is also survived by loving family members from Maurine previous marriages. Flynn and Paul Kallum, Kristi and Robert Mayfield and daughters Taylor and Jardyn and Tommy and Amy King and daughters, Sara, Emily and Ellisyn. He was preceded in death by a infant daughter, Shizwho Katrina Arnold.
