Happy Birthday, Mum, the years of raising four children, working two jobs while people around you thought your dreams for them were impossible must have been so very difficult. Mum, they so underestimated your fighting spirit, and you did all that you said you would giving all four Kerrison kids the best start in life. And as life went on and your small children grew into adults we gave all the love and determination you taught us back to you, although as you aged it was difficult at times I/we would do it all again in a heartbeat. I was prepared to run the gauntlet today & risk a $5000 fine but found out I could leave my 5km zone to visit & leave flowers on special occasion days. The rule only changed a couple of weeks ago. Did you have a hand in that I wonder !!!
I haven’t been able to visit since Mother’s Day so no regular catch ups every couple of weeks.

What a day this strange isolation Mothers Day has been. I am sitting with you at the cemetery while I write this. Flower shop at the cemetery had sold out so I was on a mission, determined to find some flowers and return. Took me almost 90 minutes but you now have 3 beautiful bunches.

I feel your warmth every day........ just as I feel your heat if I have done something that you don't like (which isn't very often because I usually pull myself up and say "would Mum approve of this?").
