Letter Of Reference For Dad (1976)

December 23, 2012

To whom it may concern,

This  being my first character reference letter it may not appear to be any sense accurately constructed or a work of art but it is a work of truth.

I have known Stu Addley  approximately a year. Stu  is the epitome of the cliché  you can't judge a book by its cover but as I discovered his heart is bigger even than his  baggy trousers and his ever ready smile and is friendly and genuine with or without his teeth.

I have worked with him in the CO-OP, he is dependable organized responsible and  the Co-Op could not exist without his valuable assistance.

I have asked him to help me with various projects a few including constructing and coordinating the favorite booth at the Westminster Community Halloween Party which was a huge success. He was  invaluable at organizing a euchre night at  our community and is also one of the very few regulars that come  to our executive meetings at the Co-Op.

I have been to his house for tea and much to my chagrin he makes better tea than me and his house is much tidier than mine.

As a father he seems kind consistent loving deeming praise and scolding with equal amounts of love concern and justice. He is firm but with a gentle hand his children are well behaved polite friendly kids always willing to do odd jobs to help their neighbors. If  Child Behavior = You!  then Stu you have done a fine job. What more can I say? I like him as a friend and  respect him as a neighbor. He  is one of the few right-on  human beings.

 Sincerely Your Friend.
