Remembering Susan

Susan Laurel Saddler passed in peace on Saturday, September 7th.She was 50 years young. Not merely a model of God’s grace, Sue demonstrated daily how God charges us to love one another. Her love of life shined upon so many.

Christian, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, Lady Kate’s Mom, friend, teacher, cook, story teller, tour guide, pianist, listener, lover, dog walker, birthday card writer, American French, Brethren Warrior, pinochle champion, Tatie Sue, Miss Sue, Madame.

A celebration of Sue’s life will take place on September 21st at 10:30AM at Grace Church in Long Beach.

Please consider taking time to share your memories of Susan with her husband Tom and the community of friends and family that mourn her loss.

GBM is headed by two of Susan's dear French-speaking friends, Dr. Sylviane and Joseph Ela. The Ela's minister to Cameroon and West Africa through a network of over 80 Grace Bible churches, their biblical seminary, and their Christian medical clinic. Susan visited GBM in Cameroon, and enjoyed hosting Sylviane and Joseph during their visits to the US. Donations in Susan's honor will allow the Ela's to continue their mission of spreading the gospel to Cameroon and West Africa.
