Remembering the day my brother passed away As I celebrate another year without you still at times in disbelief I laugh, I cry, I feel angry, I feel sad, all the emotions we call grief There are days I still can't believe you're really gone; I still can't accept it, even after so long. The pain I felt when I heard the news, I still hear myself screaming, lost and confused, I was left looking for answers, someone to accuse. There were many times that we disagreed, but we were there for each other in time of need. I miss you with all my heart. I wish we never had to part. I know you're always by my side, looking out for me, being my guide Your memories still flood my brain, sometimes it drives me insane, I cry at the rain, when my heart is melting with pain Although without you my world's a mess. I could hear you saying I deserve to be happy and not to stress. Till we meet again, my love and thoughts I'm sending because my tears will have no ending

Happy Bday all the way to heaven: Today my brother Tarik would be forty three. Today we celebrate without his presence instead only his memory. His life was cut short by devils in the wild, broken spirits broken souls, leaving a mother to grieve her only male child. May we continue to seek forgiveness with love in our heart. May they never be free of guilty conscience, cowardly shame the day they chose to rip our lives apart. While we may never know or understand God’s plan, why my brother was the ultimate sacrifice. Why he was chosen to transition so young approaching the prime of his life. He was God’s gift to all who loved him, his family and each and every friend. Despite his transgressions, despite his path on earth his footprints in the sand will never end. Till we meet again. Love you always, Sharon Page
