At an early age he joined Red Oak Grove Baptist Church in Gay, Georgia.
A Time to Grow: Mr. Bell received his education in Meriwether County. He was a great Farmer and loved music and dancing. Those That Preceded Him in Death: His mother and father; four brothers, Homer, Marcella, Rufus and Charlie David; one daughter, Carlene (Anothy) Couch.
A Time to Mourn: Leaving to cherish his memories, a caring wife, Christine Bell; three loving daughters, Mrs. Patricia (Ricky) Slaton of LaGrange, GA, Mrs. Nellie (Danny) Ponder of Newnan, GA, Miss Tonya Slaton of Woodbury, GA; devoted sons, Mr. Tommy, Jr. Bell, Mr. Kenny Bell of Woodbury, GA; brothers, Mr. Willie Norman (Eva Mae) Bell, Jr., Mr. Lamar (Mary Ann) Bell of Woodbury, Ga, Mr. Zeebedee (Emma) Bell of Atlanta, Ga; sister-n-laws, Sadie (Alex) Favors, Elizabeth (Rufus) Martin, Patsy Marshall and Ella Mae Weaver; brother-n-laws, Matthew (Gwen) Jones and Benny (Myrtle) Jones. Those saddened by his demise include his grandchildren, Antonio Bell, Remond, Antwan, Deliah, Porshia, Rickey Slaton, Diaundra, Latifah, Danyelle Ponder; seven great grandchildren; and a host of friends nieces nephews and cousins.
